Yep Sarvas is 30 which is quite a bit younger than Beckham and can play the AMF role to

We had a busy day today with his signing then the re-entry draft when we picked up defenders Andy Boyens and Chris Leitch, forward Pat Noonan and goalkeeper Jon Conway, then also got Dasan Robinson and Frankie Hejduk back as well, we were about the only ones picking during the draft

And Juninho resigned with Sao Paulo and won't be on our squad next year

Juninho wil be a big loss, IMO. Possibly as big a loss as Beckham (assuming he doesn't sign a new contract).

I agree, Juninho did a lot in the midfield for us. Plus he improved dramatically from his first year to his second. But I do wish him well in Sao Paulo. I'm still not certain whether Becks will resign or is in fact going to PSG.

We resigned Franklin, Bryan Jordan, picked up the option on Cristman, also signed striker Pat Noonan, and GK Nick Noble. Glad to see we resigned Franklin though

The new Galaxy jerseys look sick, they were so boring and bland all white.

As for Juninho not a superstar like Donovan or Beckham and never will be; but he was the Galaxy's most consistent player and they would have been shit without him this year. I would not say he's a DM, definitely a CM solid shooting from outside the 18, composed on the ball, good distribution, and doesn't shy away from a tackle. Anything he lacks he makes up for with his hustle(not quick but good stamina, never seems tired).

Why black ? Their away jerseys match the stripe color of this new home jersey. I wish they would use their alternative/3rd jersey that they used when the played Real Madrid for all their cup games(concacaf cl, us open, mls playoffs).

As for next season do you have any predictions ? I'm thinking seattle with the galaxy losing Omar and Juninho.

Yeah, it won't be the same without OG. Galaxy may pull out another one though. They're still strong candidates.

Others I'd include as candidates are Houston, Kansas, Seattle, and RSL.

I would say we are still favorites despite losing Omar and Juninho. We have added several players to the team who might be impact players.

Like who ?

Leonardo to replace Omar is a step down.
Birchall can not run to midfield like juninho.
Dunavant the galaxy's LB, most consistent player who I think played in almost every games is a year older and now 32.

They are no where near as good as they were last year. Before Omar's injury and with juninho I felt they had a legitimite chance to win Concacaf CL.

Of course this is just my opinion

You aren't going to get immediate same level talent when replacing a player like Omar. But Leonardo is a pretty good defender but I think Boyens will be the starter along with AJ. Birchy is going to be nothing more than a squad player, he is one of my favorite players but hes a squad player not a full time starter. Sarvas will most likely fill in Juninho's spot. Keat is looking to get more playing time as well as Stephens. We have a lot of young players on our roster especially in midfield.

Also about Leonardo he beat out aj delagarza both years he was here for the cb spot with Omar but unfortunate injuries put him out both seasons.
