Torn between wanting Henry and Donovan... want both to go out by lifting a cup but unfortunately it will have to be one or the other.

Henry announced when he'll retire?

No, but he's definitely leaving MLS at the end of this season and may end his career as well.

Dang, he's going back to Europe, I presume. Hopefully it's back to Monaco, maybe.
There's the cruel case where they both might come out empty handed.

Re: The Los Angeles Galaxy Thread
Think he will start getting his coaching badges or end up being a pundit.
But I still think he has 2 years or so in him in either Middle East, Australia or India.
personally hoping he retires at Arsenal.

I think he's a lot more Pundit material. I get wet when I listen to him speak. Super Ultra Mega Homo

Re: The Los Angeles Galaxy Thread
So it looks like we head into Seattle without a goal conceded and no suspensions. We'll have to be ultra cautious in Seattle. Containing Dempsey and Martins is no joke and we saw OG struggle against them we they combined. How they didn't score was more their doing than ours. Anyway, here's the highlights.

Re: The Los Angeles Galaxy Thread
Truth be told, all of the goals we conceded could've been avoid had LA not lacked concentration at the back. Gargan looked sluggish on the rebound & Penedo tho the shot was slightly deflected combined with how late Penedo saw it come, and not to mention the wetness of the ball, still somehow manages to go through Penedo's grip.
Thankfully tho Juninho manage to pull one through and the post also agreed with Juninho's intent.
Donnie's last game to be a memerable one.

Re: The Los Angeles Galaxy Thread
Well, Galaxy did it again. 5 league trophies means Grand Champions of MLS. Donnie goes out in style.
A big applause to NE for their performance in the final. Gave Galaxy a real run for their money and had the crossbar agreed it could've just as easily been their first MLS Cup in their trophy cabinet.

Re: The Los Angeles Galaxy Thread
Was pulling for NE tbh....what a team they've put together. LA are money though. Keane has been such a clutch player.
LA have proved once again they are MLS' first and only true franchise team. The East has a tall order in challenging that though with LD retiring that leaves on Keane left....it could be expected that LA will begin to decline, allowing for Seattle to step up in the west.

Re: The Los Angeles Galaxy Thread
Yeah, I'm thinking the same as well Mc Lewis. Galaxy won't be the same after post Donnie. We do have Gonzalez and Zardes, tho. Surely we'll go for Ronaldinho as well tho I'm not too enthusiastic about it. Rather have a Maxi Rodriquez/Cambiasso or even Pirlo at least. Meh we'll see what happens.
I might even jump ship to the new LA team if it strikes my fancy.
