I will not risk with Sahin. He is working a lot and is exhausted. We have a great squad, but we are short on players and we can’t afford to lose anyone else just 15 days before the start of the season. I’m not sure If he will make his debut on Saturday”.

Anyone has hopes for him to play the last preseason game? I mean its totally okay with me if he skips it, because afterall he has been injured for a long time now and I dont want to see him getting hurt again.

Oh well,maybe having the injury during the preseason will lower fans expectations once the season starts = less pressure and more time to adapt at CM role, a position which needs a lot of time to adapt to.

It's funny i made a thread in the gen about players with similar styles and i compared Sahin to cesc.

that video shows him as AM when he was one of the best u17 in the world, he was called the turkish zidane. but he moved further down the pitch as he grew up. Opposite progression for Cesc, went from DLP to AM.
