What is happening to Nuri Sahin?

Is he injured?,not fit or what?

karanka said he will get the time he deserves, also he was set to play against zaragoza but they used lass instead..

i think he will get some playing against levante so i dont think he'll play against getafe...

Plz,let sahin play,he is xabi's heir and naw dat he is getting older,sahin needs to adapt to life quickly and to prevent him from been unhappy.

Nope all wrong, substantiated reports from Spain is that he is still completing his preseason and going through a whole range of tactical exercises in order to bring him up to speed with the rest of the team.

Lots of practice matches behind closed doors.

Lol, Toure would work his socks off if he would have been in Madrid. FYI one midfielder dosent make a complete midfield. Imagine him xabi. I dont get why we need to rush Sahin atm? Hes not half as good as Lass, Granero or Khedira for instance.

Sahin is better than any CM we have atm, just saying....

My silly self was actually thinking that same thing but I had some doubts about the legitimacy. I think people really forgot that he was injured for several key periods of the season so far and would be many steps behind the rest of the team in terms of the tactical awareness of Mourinho's coaching style.

The fitness could be gathered but if you don't understand the structure of the team play, you would be under utilize or plain useless. That's what I would like to think is going on with Sahin...

REALLY?? We dont know if he is any good? I watched almost every Dortmund game last season and I can assure you, Nuri Sahin is an exceptional midfielder. Madrid is not the only place on the planet players can prove themselves. You really did sound completely ignorant with that comment for anyone who has watched Dortmund for an extended period of time. Also your comment about LASS, GRANERO, KHEDIRA, are way off and I will probably not be able to take anything you say seriously anymore (Not that you would care. I wouldnt. IMO the Bundesliga is a more difficult and balananced league than La Liga and he was a part of a championship winning squad. Playing practically every game and dictating everything that team did. His vision and calmness is hardly seen in a player of his age and his long pass to Callejon in the Copa del rey is just a glimpse of his genious. He did this every game with dortmund. I really hope its his fitness and they are planning to incorporate him into the first team. Otherwise I would really like it if Nuri left Madrid and went somewhere he is appreciated.

Mou is hiding Sahin until he recovers completly, he doesn't want his morale/confidence affected by his problem

Physical state? He's played 90 min games before. He could surely start a few league games.

Confidence? Well, constant bench time will kill anyone's confidence but come on: he's played in one of Germany's biggest clubs in front of 80k crowds weekly, was one of their key players and won the title just before leaving the club. If Özil and Khedira who came from lesser clubs could handle the pressure and "fear", Sahin could just as well.

UH-OH???

He seemed to be playing pretty well and getting stuck in the few games he did play.

I don't expect much from Sahin this season. he did not have a pre-season and is still in the adapting phase. we'll see more of him next season.
