Not that surprising... when all teams level get closer as tactics evolve the smaller teams been catching up n so most teams are tight n tactically cautious? N no need to exert too much effort into scoring lots of goals when the opponent can hurt u on the counter, unlike in the past there were huge difference in quality between the match ups... dunno, thought the expanded would result in that but looks like the smaller teams done well to raise their level...

On the flip side, it's incredibly rare for players to retain such a high level of passion for the sport well into their 30s. The guy turns 40 at the start of next year ffs.

you can never be sure if he's doing it for the cameras or if it is all passion coz he has put so much into the game...
