Re: Premier League 2023/24
Is it down to the manager?
When you look at Klopp he seems like the guy who can get in the dressing room and make the players squeeze every ounce of performance out of them, while Arteta doesn't seem like that.
Just an observation though, could be wrong.

Re: Premier League 2023/24
it's a cultural Arsenal thing long before Arteta
Arteta has helped us a lot in many aspects since coming in, including some mentality stuff, but i wouldn't completely blame him for not changing all of it yet for the better. The squad is also still relatively young, and then you have leaders in the team like Zinchenko who cost us the win at Anfield last season.
Then again we overcame our poverty record against Man City earlier this season, so you never know. But Anfield is just a different animal altogether.

Well I thought Liverpool were complete losers before Klopp, so I guess there's a lot a manager can do about that.

Not really. More like 1.5 years, 2017 against City where we beat them 4-3 is still highlighted as one of the best examples and case studies of Klopp's system and madness. The scoreline flatters City because of the 2 late goals but those who watched the game do not remember City's goals. We also made the CL final that year, beating City home and away to make it to the final. This is the same City team that finished 100 points in that season.
Then in Klopp's third full season (2018), we hit 97 points and won the CL. Not sure where the 4-5 years comes from, Klopp hit the ground running.

you won the CL in 2019, and the PL in COVID 2020, that's where the 4-5 years is coming from, big guy

Klopp's Liverpool never needed to win trophies to be called a mentality monster. This seems more like coping to find some parallel with your Arteta timeline.

Robertson, Mac and Jota out. This is the best time to play us at Anfield.

Nishank's return
Glad to see Nishy have a more positive outlook that I do on the team as Im somehow still struggling to get over the finished cycle of our winning team.
Klopp never truly has created a new cycle within his team so Im anticipating how this one pans out as I dont rate Mac as highly as others let alone before he came but am a huge fan of Szoboszlai for example.
United-LFC just doesn't have the same ring to it if not since SAF departed the building and am fully confident we will absolutely wreck them. In fact, Arsenal too. Piece of cake.

Hahah hey Arq!
As I said, I think we are working through a new squad here, I am just happy Klopp signed an extension to rebuild the base of this team atleast. We will see the "Liverpool 2.0" next year. I am just expecting a few heartbreaks this year, something without which Klopp can't win anything lmao

He loved Joe Allen and was it Allardyce? as well. As Finnish as he was, he was a true Brexit means Brexit at heart.

Liverpool are top of the league with one loss since April and the best goal difference, and I’m sat here feeling clueless as to how good they actually are.

Re: Premier League 2023/24
Arsenal game shouldn't be hard to be honest. Just put them under pressure and they wilt. Bukake Saka will try the same dance and turn back on the right, Jesus the ghost in the box and Arteta subbing on Nketiah to save the day
Next.
Next.

Arty left no doubt due to the forums affinity for discrimination against bald managers and hinted his disdain for it once or twice
Edit: turns out he is still here
