He says he's a RM fan and madrid fans will claim otherwise anyway. Shameless.

Clos Gomez retired that very season, that final was his last game ever. They probably would have known early on anyway that he'd get this game out of courtesy as his farewell game
This investigation has been going on for a couple years already apparently and all they have is a bunch of nothingburgers. Banana republic

And although Tebas claims he is a Madridista (to be fair 90% of Spaniards claim to be either Madrid or Barca regardless of home town), but he makes as many stupid statements against RMad as he does to Barca. He likes to shoot off his mouth, most often with items that should be of no concern to him, rather than properly market la liga which he should be doing!

Re: EA Sports La Liga 2022/23
That season? I doubt it. That wasn't the only call either. There were quite a few calls that went against us that season. I think it was that season Perez commented that Hernandez Hernandez had been called to the VAR monitor 17 times and only stood by his decision on one occasion. You don't have to guess against who that was.BarrileteCosmico wrote:Meh. Win some lose some. I'm sure you got calls that you didn't deserve back then too.
It has only continued this season but I don't think it's impacted the standing like it did that season. Instead this season the referees are doing everything to hurt Vinicius by allowing players to commit murder against him and to gloat about it openly afterwards while he gets a yellow for every little infringement. I mean you only have to look at his yellow after the tussle with FDJ to know they have an agenda against him.

Real Madrid is so corrupt that we have to pay to at least keep things somewhat equal. SHOCKER.

Former La Liga referee Iturralde González claimed on SER that Florentino Pérez locked him and two of his assistants in a separate room to put pressure on them. He informed the committee about this but they did not open any file or investigate the matter.

Re: EA Sports La Liga 2022/23
Because this whole thing really didn't affect Madrid, not really imo. It's the other clubs, they would have felt the majority of the pain. Madrid and Barcelona would get the majority of the wins regardless but a ref decision would affect the likes of Valencia (yuck), Athletic, Villareal, et al way more than Madrid or Barcelona.
Alas, totally enjoying the "doth protest much" vibe from Barcelona mixed with a lot of Whatabout-ism. Long may it continue.

Itturalde is taking revenge on our club because we showed the bias against us by referees on our official channels. The best they have is "they tried to take us into a separate room in a game they won 6-1 and wanted us to treat them like we treat Barca" wonder if Itturalde had that power back then to make sure all referees conformed to this request

Negreira didnt even have that much power over refs as it turns out, and all he did was explain to barca why certain ref decisions were made, a consultative/advisory type of role at best.

Oh please, who is being gullible now. Negreira created a culture where anyone who whistled favourably towards Barca were being promoted and getting to referee in the big games whereas those that were neutral were being demoted. That culture has carried on until this season. The whole refereeing structured need to be restructured to weed out this culture. Mate, you were getting penalties when your players were kicking the ground without anyone around them

“The friendship that united Victoriano Sanchez Arminio, then president of the CTA, is what led him to be vice-president. Enriquez Negreira was the one who called you when you were promoted or relegated as a referee. But the appointments were direct from Victoriano Sanchez Arminio. Then they gave way to the draw model. Then it was a computer system. After the appointments came the Triumvirate: with one from the CTA— Victoriano, one from LaLiga— Lopez Nieto and one by consensus —Puentes Neira, during his tenure there were three models of designation: him as vice president, designation via computer draw and via Triumvirate.”
This is a dirty attack by the madrid media. Negreira didnt create anything because he had very little say. And stop acting like Barca got favorable decision and RM never, becaue it's pathetic

fml Pedri and dembele were supposed to be back for sunday and they're both ruled out

A win tomorrow would probably seal the deal, but without them it's not looking that optimistic

No the computer system was before Barca started their payments. The promotions/demotions were made by a committee that Negreira was a prominent part of. When he wasnt in the committee anymore the payments stopped. You don't have to be Einstein to work out why

That's not true. Lahoz is 46 years old and still reffing and there is a referee who will referee Almeria's game in a few minutes who is 47Myesyats wrote:halamadrid2 wrote:That referee only got one more Barca game after that before being sent packing to Cyprus. You get it now don't you

Negreira drove all the referees who made mistakes against Barca or didn't referee in favour of them out of the top division. All that is remaining now is hardproof which is more difficult to get. But rest assured this is the Spanish calciopoli

.?? Being paid 7M for a consultive/advisory role with no power over refs!!
And why make payments under the table? And why was he so upset and threatened Barca when payments were stopped?

Lahoz is not like other referees is he. And by your logic he should've been demoted too long ago because he's atrocious. I think he prolonged his career as an exception to make the WC, that's what I've readhalamadrid2 wrote:That's not true.
