As tito mentioned above I guess, its all about the match ups, some teams just do better vs certain style teams n the opposite vs others. As expected Man U beat Betis easily Razz

La Liga teams feel just much weaker though now, look at Sevilla n Atletico... Valencia, etc., bar the top two dont think the worlds best players are here anymore?

Between 15/16 and 17/18 (114 games) Barca paid 1.6M to the ref VP. They had:
33 penalties for them 3 penalties against
23 red cards in favor 4 expulsions against

Between 18/19 and 20/21 (114 games) Barca made no payments to the ref VP. They had:
23 penalties for them 14 penalties against
15 red cards in favor 10 red cards against

saw this earlier, sheesh

edit: officially been charged it seems with corruption and other things

Your navity always astounds me. First on always assuming everything is corrupt despite any evidence and now secondly your statement about absence of world’s best players in la liga. Are you totally ignorant of finances! There are only at most a dozens clubs and only 2 in la liga that can afford those players!

3 penalties against is crazy over 3 seasons but 33 penalties in favor isn't, we were very dominant with MSN and obviously less so once they were broken up.

https://www.espn.com/soccer/spanish-primera-division/story/4098174/90-percent-of-la-liga-refs-support-real-madrid-former-official

Former referee Eduardo Iturralde Gonzalez has claimed 90% of match officials in Spain support Real Madrid and the other 10% lean towards Barcelona.

so the defense you and other barca fans are going for is

but but madrid cheat too!

there's a financial paper trail proving you bribed the refs for decades

your club is being criminally pursued..

anything less than a complete stripping of all titles won since 2001 and being relegated would be an injustice to the other teams in La Liga

the last 2 decades of your club's history is now meaningless

I don't even remember 70% of those. Bet they are a bunch of 5th or 6th goal in a 7-2 win or some crap like that or completely made up all together.

Barca have cheated their way to trophies. They should hand them over to the clubs who competed without cheating.

Next up, the CL. The red cards to RVP, Pepe and the Chelsea scandal. All those need to be looked at and Barca banned from competing eventhough that wouldn't make a difference anyhow because they can't even get past the group these days Laughing

Your club were caught with their pants down with the fax leaked to the press where the VP threatens to uncover the truth if you didn't pay him lol. I want Uefa to look into it too with Villar being a very high ranking official in Uefa. No way they didn't influence the officials there too.

The best Barca fans can come up with is......but but surely please be true RM are as corrupt as us Laughing no we aren't. The investigators tried in vain to find one just one circumstantial evidence tying us to this corrupt VP but couldn't. Our club don't need to buy favours we are the best club in history. We do the talking on the pitch. Uefa tried to fck us over last season but we rose above it and sent their little sad faces back him with their tails between their legs. LaLiga have been screwing us over for over multiple decades. It's open season on abusing the feck out of our most dangerous player. We'll rise above it too.

The best anyone has on our club is Perez talking shit about certain players.

The referees must hate Vinicius, there is no other way to explain their behaviour towards him. Only Carlo standing up for him from the management and senior players. Everyone else telling him to cut out the noise as if he's the one in the wrong. Frustrating as F!

Hala, i think the reason Perez has been slow to react to Barcagate is the so called partnership re the super league. That plus the fact they are not part of the group nor the actual meeting that condemned it. Once the charges became reality, he had to say something. Now that both of the partners (Juve and Barc) are in deep trouble, the super league dream is probably over.

One interesting rumour a week ago was Flo seeking entry to EPL! With no competition in la liga, liga head totally against you, can’t get enough TV rights to compete with EPL teams and thought of increased revenue through super league dead, then why not join the league that has the tv rights and competition you seek!

And to Myesyats, guess you are about to become a Madrid fan as Madrid is the only team that can afford Pedri!

The pre-VAR offside error rate was extremely high Laughing Up to 20% throughout a league season and as high as 30% in tournaments such as the CL and WC. Pretty much any situation where the attacker wasn't several meters ahead of the last defender was essentially a coin toss.

And what about the opposite side of the coin? How many offside situations went against Madrid, both against their own attackers and in favor of their opponents?

Your fanbase  fell victim to selection bias and conspiratorial thinking. The corruption was always happening closer to home.

They were slow to react because they were waiting for legal complaints to be made. Now that there is a legal case, the idea would be to become an individual claimant in the case, in order to have access to all the investigation that had been done. It’s expected that La Liga would do the same.

I have a feeling that this will be a hard case to prove legally and there has always been a reluctance to act against Barcelona so not to damage la liga as a product. I would not be surprised if that is what ultimately transpires.

But there is no question here that Barcelona are a cheating club, we all knew it for years, we all saw it and they were actively buying favors with referees. I hope they lose the titles they obtained during the period they were paying Neigreiro, that would only be fair

Honestly these numbers don't look nearly as incriminating as you're making it seem

Basically it comes down to:

Or on a per season basis:
+3.3 pens for and -3.6 pens against
+2.6 red cards for and -2 red cards for

I'm sure it helped, but this is not enough to win anything.

That's if there was any help at all. These kinds of numbers could easily be explained by the fact that back then Barca was one of the most dominant sides in the world, with an all time best forward line that would get tactically fouled more than often, and dominant in possession (so less chances for ball recoveries and red cards).

No reason to get angry over this bill

League has been wrapped up for weeks no. And it's our fault due to poor performances, injuries and lack of planning from our board.

We could've easily won this league if Flo spent money on reinforcements instead of hoping for players to play out of position

Another 1-0 win lol... gotta give one thing to Xavi is thats hes massively improved our mental strength n ability to hold out 1-0 leads in the league, which is what wins u leagues, more so than good performances n scoring many goals, etc... Bilbao were better for major parts of the goal so its yet another one that we somehow won. Could it be that we really beat Real to the league? Very Happy Ffs...
