Re: EA Sports La Liga 2022/23
This is the reason why I wanted them still in europa. Less games for them and more for us when their squad is a little improved from last season isn't a good deal.

Re: EA Sports La Liga 2022/23
Seriously, Carlo has to be incapable of learning and his son has no say. We have a whole match which showed that Kroos and Modric vs Barcelona no longer works and would continue to not work but he started them...again!
Swear this old man hates to learn and if I were Ceballos, yeah, I'll be looking for a new team as if he can't start a Clasico vs a demoralised and weakened Barca side, doubt he'll start any other one.
Tl;Dr: I blame Carlo and Carlo alone for this.

You know Carlo, he was among those (Galliani n berlusconi) that turned ac Milan into a retirement home. So I'm not surprised nor mad at him. I just hope we don't get tired legs. These boys have barely rested this year. With the winter world cup, the unnecessary world club cup and now fighting on 3 fronts for titles

Re: EA Sports La Liga 2022/23
HAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, how tf did we win this game, Real were better for a lot of the game n vastly so. Tf if we could even manage to hold out the league n than did the domestic double, would be an EMBARASSMENT for Real man, to lose both vs this rebuilding Barca team... dont think we would do it but even this cup would be a decent win under the circumstances
For the game, we had nothing up front without Lewand's presence, Kessie couldnt cope with the pressing, his goal n general work rate makes up but its definitely not a long term solution. It was strange to see him alongside Busquets instead of Frenkie who was higher up, maybe Xavi though the latter could link play with Ferran n Raphinha? Both were useless though It really was lucky that we scored a goal n Real strangely bit flat in attack again, hence the unlikely win...
One thing to praise is we have become adapted to being the underdogs n compete mentally now, to make for the weakness in physicality...highlighted by example Gavis fearlessness n ability to ruffle opponents. Funny to see Modric still faster than Busquets often despite the age difference but lucky Busquets still has the ability to compete at least with the help of others.
Im really to despise Fati though, yet again denies teammate a goal XD At this rate he needs to be sold to raise some cash so we can buy better LW asap.

Re: EA Sports La Liga 2022/23
The midfield did OK but the reason we couldnt keep possession for shit is because Ferran and Raphinha would lose it instantly. Not only personnel but also there was a different shape compared to the supercup final. Once we have Dembele and Pedri back we should dominate them at CN, Lewa also brings a lot, basically the fact that we didnt have a front line meant that Real could push up their high line and be comfortable in that they won't get countered which would never happen with Pedri and dembouz.

Football being strange as usual, Real raped Liverpool 5-0 was it, then draws Betis 0-0. Liverpool then raped Man U 7-0 themselves, n Man U would prolly beat Betis easily?
Man, tf if we really somehow manage the double over Real this season, I would be laughing for the rest of my life

Re: EA Sports La Liga 2022/23
Btw, this was like the worst Valencia I have ever seen, EVER. Low intensity all round, defensively a mess, but still managed to trouble us with some chances lool... just goes to show how bad we are atm.
Highlight of the match definitely was Raphinha's run n header, his trademark really, but he is not a long term consistent solution if we wanna win stuff. Hope we can eventually upgrade over him. Like him a lot cos he deserves it with insane workrate but hes just limited as a one footed winger with no pace. He prolly can become some kind of wide play maker in a lower level team.
The real real highlight though has got to be Ferran fighting with Fati to take pen n then to miss it~ LOOOL FFS, SELL THIS FK ALREADY XD
Oh and Kounde has looked shaky a lot lately... didnt pay attention to him much at Sevilla, is he a bit overrated? Hes decent but seems slow n easily beat vs top wingers, n now quite mistake prone?

Why laugh? Full strength we are the better team, problem is that 1-2 injuries makes the entire team fall apart. Shit bench

Re: EA Sports La Liga 2022/23
I guess its debatable who has the better team Myesyats. Midfield prolly, but definitely they are better up front n defense. We been in transition n rebuilding I just cant wrap my head around the fact we have managed or are managing to do it so fast? The double would be too good to be true so soon. Anyway, they prolly will beat us in the return leg I forgot its two legged semis lol, b4 catching us in the league also
We have definitely had a lot of 1-0s iirc this season, our d managing to shut out vs league opponents that have dropped levels a lot now compared with the past. The league does not have any decent scorers anymore for example its a joke. Somehow Real manage to keep dropping point despite having Vini n Benz up front which is criminal

The investigation has proven payments since 2001, although everything indicates that the operation began in the 1990s, during the presidency of the late Josep Lluís Núñez. The crime attributed to the club, however, can only be extended until a maximum of 2010 because, previously, the Penal Code did not contemplate it
jfc....strip them of all titles in the last 30 years
fraudulent club

Re: EA Sports La Liga 2022/23
what impact does stripping titles have in all honesty beyond rewriting the history books? no one knows the name of the guys who Tour de France's are attributed to after the cancelation of Lance Armstrong.
I mean how can we erase the memories from our mind of what Pep's Barca did? Should we feel indifferent to their achievements now?
If they are guilty, let them pay through league demotion/expulsion and hefty reparation fees. That really is the best and most fruitful punishment for a situation such as this.

The 1-0s are depth related issues. Ferran and Ansu are physically and literally unable to score goals as if they were allergic to them. On the other end, an injury to Christensen, Kounde or Araujo means that either Roberto plays RB or Garcia plays CB which is good comedy for the neutral viewer but not fun for the team.
Aymeric Laporte and Vitor Roque could possibly at least partly address these issues in attack and defense.

Barca have been caught! They paid chief ref millions over 10 years. They keep denying it, and fan boys on this forum, but the amount of detail that has been coming out makes the no corruption claims really doubtful. It’s not just a sports story, it’s on nightly news reports almost everyday for past month.
Today, the legal system has announced a formal investigation and charges.

Havent looked into it but if its true, its been going on for 30 yrs? Lol? And Real fans really wanna just jump all over this n think Real dont do the same? Pfft... not denying anything nor believing until the verdict in the end. The amount of favours Real got over them yrs if this is true then Barca definitely wrong end of bad business deals again XD We didnt get much of what paid for XD

That's not football being strange. That's sports and life in general. It isn't logic. Which is why it's difficult to use "ifs" when making sports arguments. Not to mention, some teams might match up better against others.

Re: EA Sports La Liga 2022/23
As tito mentioned above I guess, its all about the match ups, some teams just do better vs certain style teams n the opposite vs others. As expected Man U beat Betis easily
La Liga teams feel just much weaker though now, look at Sevilla n Atletico... Valencia, etc., bar the top two dont think the worlds best players are here anymore?
