2nd PSG match I watched in its entirety (last week was just highlights) and they are playing with ALOT more fluidity (to which, was probably not that high with Poch anyway).

Didn't care for Monaco PSG but to see PSG "struggle" to beat a team that can actually go toe to toe with them makes sense.

I actually thought Monaco were really poor. QSG were leaving acres of space for them to exploit on the counter and they were making the wrong choices in attack over and over. I felt like they lacked quality in midfield and attack. Also that foul on Neymar was so lazy. I couldn't believe it

PSG's midfield seems to be the main culprit here. It got overrun. They seemed non-existent out there.

They'll never win the champions league if they don't fix that. Don't matter if you got MNM upfront.

I'm not sure if their midfield was just particularly bad or if Monaco's was good, but it seemed like Monaco was very very prepared tactically and mentally for this match, you could tell from the very first minute.

I don't know if it was a personnel problem (with Sanches in and Vitinha out) or more tactical, but either way there were many other problems too, including the defense and Mbappe playing selfishly.
And the team just doesn't seem to elevate their game when things get tough. They do the opposite. Of course, it's been like that for a while. I just wonder if that can ever change...

It'll be very very interesting to see how this team develops over the course of the season.
