Corresponds with the time that the 75% tax law is up for vote again.

I don't approve of strikes to a large extent... but this one is justified.  Insane law.  Good thing is Hollande doesn't have a spine and will cave in if enough people pressure him not to do this...

It was vetoed... but only for 1 year. They're trying get it passed again this year.

It's idiotic. But going on strike is not the answer to it lol.

French football clubs to strike on weekend of 30th November over 75% tax rate. No games but clubs will open doors to public.

The strike involves professional clubs, so those in Ligue 1 and Ligue 2. Vote was unanimous

75% tax rate is robbery, I understand that they feel like they have to protest somehow.

On the other hand in democracy it's the people who elect the politicians. Have we voted poorly? If so, it's our fault. Are there no good candidates? It's our fault for not being up for selection. Poor choices in democracy are usually the people's fault. Although it has to be said that lobbying today counts for bribery.
