Imagine bringing Emre Can't on when you a goal scored.
Yes a midfield change to control the midfield but he is just poor for Germany.

Brilliant breakthrough by England as Kane finished it off. This is the worst Germany I've seen in over 15 years.
Löw can't nosepick himself out of this one. Go home.

England is amongst a team rich in talents ... so much so that even bench players are crazy good ... lol if they dont take advantage now as u said it would be one of those times
England rich in talent blah blah blah but we all know which league is superior and obviously the bundesliga warriors will walk over premfrauds.

Most goals in the tournament were scored by Serie A (25) and Bundesliga (21) players

Officially rooting for England, they've won me over, the fans, the atmosphere, the culture, my second home away from home, amazing feelings. Unlike other certain nations whomst are memorable for shouting the anthem as loud as possible.
Hope football comes home.

Imagine thinking Germany had a chance against Brexit power, we even left our best players on the bench to give you a chance.
What a world.

This actually annoys me. We really had far superior players to them. Muller, Rudiger, Hummels, Ginter, Kroos in 2021
Bringing on Can when you need a goal.
Germany deserves this for mistreating Ozil.
Our bench have better players than German starters.

I think this is the first time England has managed to eliminate a " big team" since I started watching football.
Congrats to all the English lads here, rooting for you, and hope you'll bring a long-awaited title home.

Re: EURO 2020 - R16 : England vs Germany
This was only the last 16. The party in the ground is like we've made the final.
Couldn't believe my eyes when Muller missed that chance. It would have been so England to concede right after scoring. To actually go on to score a second goal? Fantasy stuff.
We won a penalty shootout at a World Cup for the first time in 2018. Now we've knocked Germany out of a tournament. wtf is happening.
This is the first time England has won a knockout tie in the Euros in 90 minutes. Ever.

Congrats Snoozeland. Not much to say about your team. It's alright i guess
This german team looked off since the first match, only one decent match by them. They concede like crazy too 6-7 goals. A page must be turned, Low could never find the solutions, the entrance of Can in last minutes is a proof he may have lost his mind a bit.

The underrating of England/overrating of Germany was purely based on historical reasons.
In the past, stacked England teams have failed to achieve anything of note whereas washed up/limited Germany teams have made it to finals ( WC 2002 ) and even won tournaments ( Euro 1996).

But what ever calculation you had forget to mention that Southgate used the pain of missing a penalty against Germany to become a LEADER OF MEN.

Ian Darke commentating, saying that a win would kick off a night of celebrations across the nation. I thought he was joking, it's winning a RO16 game.
I'm hyped and England fans should be, but I wasn't expecting what I saw. People really will be partying tonight. You would think they should go through next round and so that's exciting but England need to do it first.
Anyway, fuck it. It's coming home let's fuckin goooo

Muller's miss should be the end of an era for some of these Germans.
No more Muller, no more Kroos, sack Low

Re: EURO 2020 - R16 : England vs Germany
I seriously hope Germany have a promising #9 coming up somewhere in their next generation. I think they're going to be fine pretty much everywhere else, but up top they need a reliable finisher. That used to be Mueller, but today was not his day.
This is it, I think, for the 2010 generation that dominated everything in sight.

It would be very England to go out to Ukraine or Sweden in the quarter-finals.
England has so much baggage when it comes to Germany. They've been our dream killers so often. Just nothing but disappointment for so long.
The amount of fans in the ground with their hands on their heads, just staring in disbelief sums it up.
My hope now is they haven't already played their "final" and have enough focus left for the quarter-finals. Especially now as the expectation will be higher than it's ever been.
