Doherty is lucky Trent fell off a cliff, because he has been horrible.

Id also put Willian, who only scored his first goal the other day. Mitrovic was also supposed to help Fulham avoid the drop, he's been pretty much useless.

To some degree yes. Though there are some who like donkey players like Rincon. I can appreciate a technically limited workhorse, but I don't want too many of them on my team.

If I could build my own elite team it would involve players who are the best in the world at their specific attribute. For instance, I'd start KDB as a RCM because he's the best at underlapping, and Neymar at LW because he's the best 1v1 player in the world. To know they're the best with those attributes requires the eye test and stats to back them up making it a nice combination of nerd FC and baller FC.

There's room for all three in the England team. For example:

Rice/Henderson

Mount Foden

Sancho Kane Grealish

As much as I have seen from Foden, he has a huge ceiling and suddenly looks very improved. But I think he should not be considered first choice starter for England, he will disappoint you guys. He is playing now in a Pep system after directly learning in the Pep school. I would wait before I start considering him a starter for the NT.

I have always liked Mount. But I never expected him to be so consistent as he seems to be now, at least performance and impact wise. You cant have a team with only Havertz, Pulisic, Ziyech. Having Mount in the team provides better balance to Chelsea side imo.

Salah in any other team in this season would have had more assists. It is just sad that he feeds Mane and Firmino who are in the worst form of their career.

Typical GL with amnesia, Mahrez has been sleeping whole season and only recently started doing something meaningful. Salah, Ollie Watkins, Antonio, Bamford, Rashford have all better numbers and been more consistent over the whole season.
Hell, even Mane has G+A better than Mahrez Laughing dont come with bullshit that Mahrez has played less games, maybe he sucked in training under Pep that is why he did not get played as much.

There's definitely a lot of recency bias. I expected Gundogan to be on everyone's team. Mahrez didn't even become a starter until like late January. KDB was injured for most of City's 20 game win streak. Grealish was also a name I thought would be on everyone's teams, but since he got injured in February, people have probably forgot about him.

Outside of GL I've seen those who put Foden which made me laugh considering he's only started 14 games lol.

Grealish is surely an interesting player. Hopefully he wont become another Ross Barkley. He would cost a lot otherwise Liverpool should try to get him. I guess he will most likely end up somewhere else among top 8.

Neville is such a muppet Laughing he said, Utd lost because Utd were missing Maguire where as Liverpool didn't play their 5th and 6th choice CB.

I thought Liverpool was done but as a matter of fact they are favorite for top 4. Chelsea and Leicester are at risk here and West ham is not out yet.

Just saw Chelsea calendar ... good luck to them because they have
-FA cup final against Leicester
-3 days later a must win game against same Leicester
-5 days later Aston Villa
- 5 days later CL final

true... but Salah has beautiful finesse on his finishes that you wonder sometimes why he misses so many good chances
i guess what i meant was not best in terms of efficiency necessarily , but also with style, execution and overall production taken into account

Efficiency matters the most to me, so I would pick Kain without a shadow of a doubt. I’m sure there are plenty of more elegant/stylish players in the league, but Kain wins the productivity contest.
