what makes them so special that their judgment is reserved until playoffs?
they may go and sweep teams in the playoffs (which they won't) that still doesn't mean they don't deserve fair analysis like everyone else

But in playoffs, with a healthy Davis, watch out, i don't think anyone can beat them

^^you really think so? i have my doubts about that team and i said so much going into the season.. specifically saying i think they are a tad worse off than last season in terms of how they are constructed as a team. They're probably one trusted knock down shooter short, and that's considering KCP will turn it on consistently in the playoffs.

And i think their competition is gunna be a lot more fierce this time around as opposed to last season. I mean yea LeBron is LeBron, and you can never bet against him, but personally if i was a Lakers fan i would be worried... i have a real life buddy who is, and he certainly is.

we're not beating Utah lol they are actually quite good. At this point i believe we should have just tanked and i feel sorry for Lacob wasting all that tax money on Oubre.

Because they're the defending champs and Lebron James earned the right for us not to judge him in the regular season like a decade ago.

Also people raging about Zion making the all star game tells me people are not actually watching Zion.

The guy is putting up 25/7/3 on 62/35/71 splits with a 62.3 eFG% and the 6th highest PER in the league.

If All Star game was about team success then Trae Young wouldn't have been a starter last year.

It definitely doesn’t matter. I think there’s more deserving players than there are spots. There’s obviously a ton of subjectivity to these decisions but it is what it is

They definitely should increase the spots imo, the talent in the league atm is pretty insane.

I think so too. At least some of the great west talent like KD and Harden came to the L’East, I remember the talent discrepancy at a time being quite insane

I don’t think DeMar has made an all star team since joining the Spurs when he was a lock each year in the east for example

I also think with this whole captaincy bullshit (I prefer east vs west but the games have been better lately so I’ll let it slide), they should really just focus on the best players rather than an even amount

But the thing is AD is out, so clearly Booker will be the injury replacement.

The biggest miss imo is Sabonis, he's real nasty this season, but Vucevic is also doing well with a very depleted team around him

Zion is the clear pick imo.

Booker and Ingram equally deserving. Same level player difference being that one is playing with the second greatest point guard of all time and a more talented team overall.

I just wish the game had a more competitive nature, that's what they tried to achieve with the captains selecting teams, but a real incentive would have been that they play for something real, like home court advantage for the finals.

That would be some real ball.

Or it just needs 1 guy who starts the intensity and others will follow. Last year it was Lowry who started this and the last quarter went wild.

I have loved the game the past few years because of how serious they are in the 4th quarter.

The real winners are us for not having to watch Giannis as a GM this year
