Uhh yeah it is less worse.
It's like asking if getting your dick bit or cut off is worse. I'd rather get bit.

The president is a president of all people, not only black people. I don't get it.
Would 10 term Obama suffice for all the needs of the black community? Did he do enough?
Had 8 years and it seems like he did nothing from what I gather.

Shame for him. She was his clear best option.
Probably needs to react with a black woman now.

TBH I already thought Klobuchars background as a prosecutor was a no-sell for her own candidacy, the DAs and their superiors in the US just do too many shady backroom deals, something always surfaces in the end. And this is 2020, Giuliani only ever held office because he did the dirty in the 80s.

Also we should probably lock this thread.
Trump has 100% lost the election now and there's no way he's gonna leave the white house. So he's gonna start a lot of terrible shit.

He's got the Berlusconi problem
he desperately needs to stay in office somehow as dozens of indictments, and ultimately jail, await him once he's out

Not sure about that.
Everyone said he won't win the Republican primaries.
Everyone said Hilary will win in a landslide.
Still have PTSD from 2016.

Well, US elections always heavily favor the incumbent. For some reason it's unpatriotic to not vote for your current president. It's cultural.

Most likely if things are going ok people have no reason to come out. When its falling apart though incumbents can suffer horrible defeats as shown most recently with Jimmy carter vs Reagan in 80.

Re: 2020 US presidential election
40 years ago is not recent, though, and the decline of American political culture, well the modern decline, was started by the Reagan administration, so it's not a huge surprise.
Republicans since Reagan probably did the most damage to American political discourse since McCarthyism.

Well to be fair 1980 was the most recent example of an incumbent being up for reelection when things are going bad.
1984 the economy was surging after a recession
1996 we were going through the dot com boom
2012 the economy was surging after a recession
we havent had a president back up for reelection with things as bad as they will be in november.

Re: 2020 US presidential election
The Reagan administration saved the United States. We had high unemployment, stagflation, an oil crisis and a recession that had lasted years before him. Shut up with the ignorant vitriol. I was actually a kid that went through the 80s. Margaret Thatcher, Helmut Kohl and Reagan partnered up and literally pulled the West up.
Sheesh.
The issues started after the 2000 election where the Republicans realized they needed to go to on the full attack in order to beat the Dems. Clinton, a centrist, had just destroyed his opponent in getting re-elected. That started it along with 9-11 and the Iraq War. Nothing else. 9-11 was really the start of extreme populism and nationalism in the US.
Sheesh.

Reagan was a POS whose economic reforms have ruined every generation behind yours, and whose own selfishness and religious bigotry caused undue pain and suffering for millions(including his own friend Rock Hudson) with HIV.
If Trickle down was such a good thing why has every generation after yours gotten less and less from the prosperity?

How has every generation gotten less prosperity? Show me facts because this is hilarious. The exact opposite happened.

Every metric is worse for us. How much was school when you went in I assume was the Bush 1 years?
I started College during the Bush 2 years and my yearly tuition was 12 grand a year. My younger sister right now applying to the same school would pay nearly 30. Trickle down?

Re: 2020 US presidential election
That's only between those who have a college education and don't. It doesn't show a drop in prosperity looooooooooooooool. The fact that you need an advanced degree to compete in this global economy is not a US trend, it's a world trend. More globalism = more competition.
Here's better data.

Reagan will eventually be known as the president who cast a death spell on democracy and handed over the reigns to the financial industry

No he's good because the GNP went up in total!
Doesn't matter that he's responsible for the deaths of 90.000 men during a horrible epidemic, because at least the wealthy got wealthier.
He was a racist scumbag who shifted politics so far right that he fucked up the entire western worlds for years to come.

That only makes sense in context of global inequality since it's a global economy.
https://www.cbpp.org/research/poverty-and-inequality/a-guide-to-statistics-on-historical-trends-in-income-inequality
And this is Trump's ammo btw... stop the US's participation in the global economy, save US jobs despite them being non-competitive in the global context... and that will help income inequality
It cost $300-$500 a semester to go to community college in the US btw.
