The stars aligned for Arsenal. Azpilicueta, Pulisic and Pedro going off injured, and Kovacic receiving a questionable 2nd yellow. Felt like at some point Chelsea stopped believing they could get back into it.

Pulisic especially was having a top performance. I was relieved when he had to go off.

First half was entertaining, second half suffered from fatigue setting in. Chelsea played a risky game by pressing high and leaving space for Arsenal's forwards, but Mount and Pulisic were feeding off Giroud really well. 2nd half they played evem more aggresively, pushing their wing backs and centre backs higher into Arsenal's half. Their game plan was good, but they lacked a presencd in Arsenal's pen area to get on some of those crosses.

Arsenal were all about the counter, especially on their left side through AMN and Auba. Key to this was being confident playing out of Chelsea's press. They did it less as the game went on and became more risk averse. They've gotten good at parking that bus. Helps having a striker like Auba around to bury those few chances they get.

yea man same here. Pulisic was giving our defense a torrid time Laughing

I was engaged in the game, obviously nervous as always with Arsenal and our deficiencies and vulnerabilities, but when Pulisic went off, i could feel that this one was written for us.

These two wins against City and Chelsea could become symbolic for better things heading forward if the board really backs Arteta with the funds.
First things first, Aubemayang has to re-sign.

Well earned victory. Aubameyang really is underrated as a whole considering how much others are mentioned compared to him. Milan youth product Proud

And Arteta already on (prestigious) cup in his first season and that in a half. Future best manager in the world Proud

Throughly deserved win. Shame for Lampard though who has been terrific this season for the Blues.
