you mean he is doing the same thing as you and many other fans on here? The Demon of Carthage wrote:lol yes Tebas is definitely no RM fan. La Liga is definitely going backwards with him in charge.
The amount of vitriole that you guys have written about the club transfer policy, Florentino Perez, direction etc… is at the same level. It’s a bit rich now to turn around and insult Tebs’as when he does the same

Right, because constructive criticism of Madrid's transfer policy and some of Florentino's questionable decisions on sporting matter is the same as trying to pressure Real Madrid into accepting a crippling financial CVC deal. Gotcha!

Perez on whether LL are doing RM's bidding by reporting QSG and City: "Tebas certainly doesn't support Real Madrid, I don't feel supported by Tebas, I feel wronged, we also have a lawsuit for a LaLiga agreement that, in our opinion, is illegal, It is illegal for sure. It breaches a decree-law, which states that we cede the TV rights to LaLiga for their commercialisation, on a competitive basis and for three years. And that is not the case"
LaLiga's response:
In view of the statements made by the president of Real Madrid, Florentino Perez, last night on the television programme El Chiringuito, LaLiga would like to clarify:
"LaLiga has not at any time or in any way pressured the president of Barcelona, Joan Laporta, with the intention of getting him to join LaLiga Impulso.
"At all times what has been done is to respond to the different requests for information requested by Barcelona from both LaLiga and CVC, always in response to a previously expressed interest from the club.
"As has already been explained on numerous occasions, the agreement with CVC to develop LaLiga Impulso has had the legal advice of important international firms such as Uria Menendez and Latham & Watkins from the outset, which means that it has had absolute legal solvency since its conception.
"This agreement was put to a vote, as could not be otherwise, following the democratic channels established in the different governance bodies of LaLiga.
"The majority of the clubs that make up LaLiga, 38 of the 42, decided to join after analysing the agreement individually and autonomously, supported by their respective legal advisors.
"Finally, we regret that, once again, Florentino Perez questions the decision-making capacity and autonomy of the other presidents and managers of the LaLiga clubs."
Imagine thinking Tebas is in any way friendly to RM

The fact that you're comparing fans to Tebas, a person running a whole league, is not a good sign at all for Tebas.Mr Nick09 wrote:you mean he is doing the same thing as you and many other fans on here? The Demon of Carthage wrote:lol yes Tebas is definitely no RM fan. Players who refused to leave will be released after the authorisation for the economic levers.
In addition, Barça will go all out for Lewandowski, Bernardo Silva and Koundé.
The sale of De Jong is already taken for granted.

It’s is to Laporta’s credit that he is finding solutions to try to have a competitive lineup, but it is a bit of short term gain at the expense of giving up a portion of future income, which will have longer term consequences. He has gotten a better deal for Barca than the Tebas’ CVC deal, but it still takes away future income. That’s the reason Perez has rejected that approach.

There was talk about a potential lawsuit shortly after Laporta took over but nothing concrete since then
Laporta is doing what needs to be done, another season without competing for the domestic league at least will be perceived as a massive failure in his term.

FDJ will be on 12m per year next season while Bernardo is on 7m ffs, this is a no brainer really since he's miles better
I think Bernardo+Pedri with a proper DM behind them makes way more sense.

It's long overdue that they have a president now who's trying to clean it all up though paying 55ME for Torres makes me question his intelligence

#ManCity received an additional €5m after Barcelona qualified for the #UCL from Ferran Torres' transfer, bringing the total that @ManCity would receive so far to €60m.

I don’t think we can talk much about high undeserved salaries Hala. I feel we are reasonable and ok with our starters, but when we have seldom used players like Jovic and Mariano at 6M and 4M, you’ve got to wonder.
There is interest from Florentina for Jovic. But as seems always with Italian teams, they want loans not sales and in this case they are refusing an option to buy and can’t afford the 6M salary want Madrid to pay half?

Jovic was Bundesliga 's hottest player when we bought him but eggs on us for still trusting that league.
We'll never be offering 12ME net to a DeJong level player ever. Barca's highest earners are their captains ffs and none of them have a winner mentality, just happy to collect a paycheck and cry in the dressing room in between games, or cheat on their spouses with college students. Laughable

Man Utd will do us a favor if they take FDJ tbh, rumors now that they're only 10-15m off fixed asking price so a deal could be close

FC Barcelona and Sixth Street reach an agreement for the acquisition of a 10% share of the Club’s LaLiga TV rights
With this transaction, FC Barcelona generates a total capital gain of €267 million for the current season. Sixth Street will initially invest €207.5 million and in return will receive 10% of the Club’s LaLiga TV rights for the next 25 years.

FC Barcelona signed a term with Sixth Street of 25 years, but the Barca entity reserves the option of recovering the rights before if revenues rise annually above between 5% and 7%.

Raphinha 72
Kounde 60
Lewa 50
Bernardo 85
Azpi 3m
about 270 in total, so Bernardo would only potentially come if De Jong is sold for 85m fixed so the rumors make sense.

Barcelona aren't broke or close to bankruptcy, not anymore. That's what most football fans don't get. The only problem the club have right now is short term liquidity to cope with La Liga's stupid rules, that's all.
