Noooooooo, amortisation isn't included in the wage bill, it's a separate expense. I think taxes are also a separate expense and tied to profit instead of wages, but I'm not sure how that goes in Spain.

I just don't think there's any way Barca's wage bill is 103% of their income, unless it's some summer months snapshot.

The players salary is tax free, the club pays the tax on players behalf. Thus the amount counted is the true cost to club, plus the transfer fee amortized.

Transfer fees amortisation being included in the wage bill doesn't make any sense, that's like saying your car loan payments are part of your monthly groceries expenses lol.

Don’t know how you manage your cash flow, but loan payments are normally part of the outgoing cash. This payroll load is a cash flow analysis, ie is there sufficient revenue to cover all expenses?

Wouldnt read too much into the figures the presidents purposely tell, its too generic and obviously said in a way to their own advantage, Barto has another version, whoever it saying it out loud would word it to their advantage.

Still, he's not on particualrly high wages, and you will recoup laughably little of the transfer fee by selling him now.

He's got the quality, he's just stopped by injuries. Makes more sense to keep him and have the extra quality available when he's fit.
The club's finances are not going to be healed by selling Dembélé cheaply or loaning him out.

It’s worst than that DoC. Besides Tebas having his self agenda for la liga, we also have idiotic Rubiales as our national head. Fully incompetent and in constant disagreement with Tebas. The only thing these two agree on is Flo and his super league!

Which by the way IMO, Flo will get his way eventually thru uefa. The original presentation was a trial balloon and had many mistakes in it and quite frankly poorly presented. But the real issues are slowly being dealt with. I think it will take a UEFA head change to get there though.
