I dont think there will be any situation where he plays ahead of a fully fit De Jong, Pedri and Busi in a big game.

Unless of course, De Jong is moved into the back of a 3 which I am for.

VdB is a good shout to do the same and he's younger. That being said guys like Wijnaldum, Garcia, and Depay are all getting raises and big salaries. In terms of free transfers, this has always been a concern. We assume Wijnaldum is far less costly than say, VDB, but how on earth do we know that?

Whatever fee Man Utd want for VDB for all I know, could be within the ball park to what has to be given to Wijnaldum to sign/ bonuses. If the difference isnt huge, then I know who Id prefer.

Ten Hag now and Xavi in 2,3,4 years depending on performance sounds good to me.

Koeman shouldnt stay after that embarrasing finish in La Liga.

In normal circumstances, I would also say Koeman should not stay. But if the alternative is sack him, pay 8m and then hire Arteta, id rather he stay.

Allegri back to juve and Conte is awful in europe.

Much rather have Ten Hag before the old guard is gone and Xavi can come in fresh.

I respect the sentiment but not these 2. Despite the fact I like them both.

They just dont fit, we dont have the profile of players im sure they'd prefer and both would be stuck between playing the football the want to play and the football Barca demands. Likely leading to an inefficient version of either.

Conte wants to play in transition, doesnt suit the players we have and without a legit 9 + dynamic midfield runners I doubt it would ever work.

Allegri I think may be more adaptable but will always want the option to go completely defensive when the game calls for it. Just dont see it being successful.

Donnarumma is a real opton for Barcelona. Ter Stegen has been suffering from knee problems for three seasons now and although he has a contract until 2025, Barça want to renegotiate his contract. [md]

Kounde or Pau Torres are interesting options. Maybe we can get the money from sales. My blood boils just thinking about how that POS Bartomeu left this club in crippling debt and now we have to scour for free agents ffs

You don't want to be relying on your brainfart youngster CBs in big matches, ever.

We won't really have a CL calibre team, but if we get some of these signings in there is no excuse not to win the league next year.

I don't understand if de Ligt and Torres fee is too high, what do they think Kounde is going to cost peanuts? His release clause is about 75-90m and I'm sure he'd want similar salary to whatever Torres is getting.

I read Pau Torres could go for 50m, i'm sure we could afford him if we offload some deadwood aka Pjanic/Braithwaite/Roberto/Firpo/Umtiti/ Coutinho or even Griezmann. Or maybe they would entertain a swap deal

Pau would be a great purchases, but I feel he needs a solid leader beside him, won't solve all of our problems, but will be a welcomed addition, Kounde will cost too much in comparision even tho I'd prefer him.

You need a left back and a winger as a high priority and you don't like you'll sign either.

Well, we need both I would say. A better overall squad and some key pieces.

Those key pieces cost money we clearly dont have.
