Ffs, Barto and the management is so shit that they cant even offload Suarez and Vidal until now even. I guess other clubs would know how to deal with Barca these days, sell high and buy low from us since how messed up we are in terms finance and management and of players being unhappy as well... they know we are desperate I guess...

Pique and Busquets seems to be favoured still than. The former Im still happy with, for the most part hes still a top CB, as long as he maintains his focus hes too good to replace with what have atm thats for sure. So him and Lenglet is good for us. Busquets is meh though I just hope he gets a lot of rotation so that he steps back up his game as a result perhaps.

I dont understand those rumors milling around about Semedo leaving, we would be left only with Sergi Roberto at RB and he isn't even a RB, plus he's awful anywhere he plays. That would be a terrible turn of events if Semedo left because we would definitely not sign a replacement in 2 weeks.

It's ironic that we will sell Puig before scrubs like Alena and Busquets. He is a very promising young player.

Koeman is an idiot. Mediocre coach with a know-it-all attitude. A bit like some of the posters on GL. It will be absolutely brainless to sell Puig, he is a future star.

And judging by this stupid board, I doubt they will even have a buy back clause on Puig should he get sold. Take a look at Madrid, they had buy back clause on every scrub they had and they made tonnes from them. Whereas this Barça board let Adama, Olmo and Thiago leave for peanuts.

One can no longer give the benefit of doubt that this board's goal has not been to sabotage the club. There are way too many glaring cases of wrong decisions after wrong decision. The club's been at its worst I've seen in my lifetime, the image of the club is no longer what it once was, financially the club are all in tatters and sporting-wise they have done worse than Gaspart era slump.

He is not in the squad for today.
We get the Koeman revolution we were promised. Let go of one of our most promising youngters. Meanwhile, that piece of trash and the biggest con job of the century Busquets still starts.
Puig was one of the only bright sparks in our run in last season. Should have been rewarded with a bigger role this season. Instead, he gets the axe.
I still have doubts about Puig's physicality but the kid has balls. He takes tackles like a champ, gets up immediately and starts playing again.
Huge concerns around whether he can play pivot in a 4-2-3-1 with Messi but lets look at the alternatives.
Busquets- The piece of trash who has been involved in every single one of our humiliations starting from the 3-0 against Juventus to the 8-2 against Bayern.
8 freaking 2 and that piece of garbage still starts and Puig gets the axe.

I remember the VDB and Pep quotes that they would like to be reincarnated as Busquets. I was a fan but I think he was elevated hugely by Pep's system and the magnificence of Xavi and Iniesta (Xavi mostly). It is not a coincidence that Barcelona and Spain's fortunes took a dive for the worse (particularly in cup competitions) once Xavi retired.

So, I have to re evaluate Busquets outside Xavi and Iniesta's influence. And he has severely disappointed. With him as the main man in our midfield, we have suffered multiple humiliations. Do I think he is solely responsible?
No. I think our problems start at the front and you are well aware of my opinion there. Won't go into it but Busquets is not blameless.
His dragbacks dont work anymore and he gives the ball away easily in dangerous areas putting the defense under pressure. He can't cover counterattacks, cant cover ground, useless in the air and basically just a liability.
He remains a wonderful passer, the best one touch passer in the world and his ability to find Messi between the lines is brilliant.
Maybe in a different team which can implement a forward press and team defense, he can still be good. But, as the last 4 years of humiliations have shown, in a Messi team, Busquets is a liability. In our team, a Kante or a Casemiro or a Fabinho would be much much better.

Puig would not fit in 4-2-3-1, that's true but it's laughable that a coach is even attempting that formation here. 2 midfielders of which none is a dedicated defensive wall with 2 poor fullbacks and Messi as a #10 or winger? On top of that with wingers like Démbéle who don't have a clue how to defend? Laughable.

Many "coaches" are stealing a living. Let some knowledgable fans coach the team and the outcome won't be worse, I swear.

Puig should force his stay. Koeman is a 6 month coach and he'll outlast him.
