Re: Paul Pogba - The resurgence
@Glory i understand your concern, another way to look at things is that signing elite players now can also push the group to see past the europa league. The EL is not the target here, top 4 finish in the EPL is and having Bale included in the deal can help you make a leap forward.
But as you say, if both teams are committed to make the deal they will find ways

Re: Paul Pogba - The resurgence
Isco is elite? Proven on European biggest stages? lmao, so elite can't even shave off 50 mill off Pogba fee by himself, no clubs are killing themselves for his signature and going into 7th or 8th season as a willing bench warmer, lmao nobody wants the scrub and he is too pussy to leave rm, cause their media and fans constantly lie to protect him and themselves for the embarrassing statement and hype they still make until this day to avoid the fact he is a massive flop, nobody on this can name these impressive games or point to any real stats just vague bullshit as usual.
Write bale off all you want but if he is 70 or 80% and the injuries are manage better, he would be a great impact player don't know how motivated he would be for manu and wages is high, but for me personally I think he will turn it around he doesn't seem like a bad guy and he isn't a push over either, if he set his mind to it he will step up, maybe that why he wants to stay in RM also don't think it's the money.
If flo really wants Pogba he will get him, he clearly doesn't fancy the price and RM has surplus players like isco, etc, so a player and price makes sense, tbh even if your getting RM rejects it must be better than of the players manu are signing now and have currently can't get much worse, I don't particularly care if Pogba comes or not, he is just one player and I'm not trying to hear RM needs him or we are screwed cause that nonsense other players are out there, but the club needs to do is rid itself if isco, so he can get exposed as a rubbish footballer he is.

Re: Paul Pogba - The resurgence
I breezed through all six pages of this thread to see if you had posted in it before and I couldn't even find the ghost of your shadow.
Then someone mentions Isco and you jump in like a cougar in heat to give your well-articulated and meticulously punctuated take on him.
Here's a couple pointers that you should hang on your wall, right next to the 345789 posters of Benzema already up there:
1. The full stop (.) is a very useful punctuation mark. Use it before we find you one day unconscious or dead from asphyxiation. Benzema would be left without his guardian angel. You don't want that, do you? So be a doll and use it from now on, mmkay?
2. I'm seriously concerned about your obsession with Isco. Consider cognitive-behavioral therapy treatment options designed specifically for dealing with and overcoming this type of obsession.
Good luck.

He's just fucking with Woodward since he knows that with Pogba & Raiola, he has no choice but to sell. It would be self-sabotage to keep Pogba at this point.
Still bad blood for the De Gea debacle. Madrid is certainly not going to do Man U any favors.

Story out today, Flo has flown to England to personally negotiate for Eriksen and will include Ceballos in deal (with buyback).

According to Jose Feliz Diaz, who is VERY VERY legit, Man U is negotiating actively with Real Madrid over the sale of Pogba.
125 mil euro + players... with the total price approximating 170 mil euros.
In essence, Madrid is willing to pay the 150 mil pounds... just not all cash.

that sounds lke a load of shit because 1) like hala said, Pogba is objective number 1 and negotiations for him are on going; 2)perez does not travel to sign players like Eriksen lolfutbol_bill wrote:Story out today, Flo has flown to England to personally negotiate for Eriksen and will include Ceballos in deal (with buyback).

if we pay 125 mil, you can't land Bale, maybe James or Lucas Vasquez

Re: Paul Pogba - The resurgence
It's not a good look if Madrid either encourages Pogba to be an ass to his current employers or remains "silent" on it. Personally, Pogba should continue being a professional and not pull a Dembele as I believe he is above that nonsense. I think.

Isco, Bale & 90+ million for Pogba is a ridiculous deal slanted in Utd's favour way too much. Then again, Zizou is desperate to have him and that leaves the club open to, well, that nonsense. Similar with Zlatan to Barcelona.

Issue is Bale's ridiculous wage. We need to give him away for nothing because of it. Isco's thrown in there because of that.
We tried loaning out Bale and nobody would take him.

Re: Paul Pogba - The resurgence
Unless i missed something, i have not seen a single reliable madrid journalist suggest the offer on the table is 125 mil + Isco + Bale. Where is that coming from?

Re: Paul Pogba - The resurgence
Ask Sports that question, I'm just going with what he wrote and knowing how Perez runs the club, it sounds way more believable than the club paying Utd a full 160+ mil for Pogba. Personally think cash plus Isco is the more sane deal but I could side with Sports in that we wanna just be done with Bale one time.

Re: Paul Pogba - The resurgence
There's no such things as player swaps though. We're trying to sell Bale... and likely Isco... among others to finance our acquisition of Pogba. Doesn't really matter to us whether it's Man U or someone else.
As far as where I heard this...you wrote that deal first Doc ffs. But it's what a couple of pundits in France have mentioned in terms of numbers and players so i just went with what you said lol.
In France, they're saying the first offer was 80 mil + players, not 125. It'll get done. Too much smoke.

sportsczy wrote:Pogba is worth 150... that's not the problem. We're just trying to not pay the 150 in cash but include players. The story is 90 mil + Isco or Bale. I think Man U wants Bale... but wants us to eat a lot of his wage. That's the negotiation. We may end up sending Isco and bale + 90 mil.
The other variable is Isco and/or Bale accepting the transfer. They can say no.
Started with this then I keep seeing this thing in other forums so it was just me continuing what people kept talking about. Not really putting blame on you as there is nothing to be blamed (sorry if it came out like that), we both don't work for the club lol.
Now, if you ask me, cash + player or players reads like something we'll definitely be pushing as we got players we wanna get rid of and the club has some cash lying around (be it not endless). But what I do know is that we are going ham on this deal, should be fascinating to see if we pull this off. We kinda are obligated now...

Re: Paul Pogba - The resurgence
I wanted Ndombele more as a matter of record... but i really f-in want Pogba too. We better get one of them.
Still not sure why we didn't get Ndombele too. We'll wait 2 years and then have to pay 150. Seems silly.

Re: Paul Pogba - The resurgence
I too would like to know how we didn't pursue Ndombele. Thought he was the easier of the two to negotiate for and seeing how much Spurs paid for him, I am absolutely correct to think that way.
