Why did we get Paul Pogba?

Why exactly did we get pogba? I know he is a great talent, but with vidal(25),marchisio(26),asamoah(24),verratti(19),bouy(19) and appelt(19) we really don't need another talent for our midfield. Our current midfield is pretty young(expect for pirlo) and we already have great talents. Plus this guy is gonna earn +€1.000.000 a year and he left manu because he didn't get playing time, but our midfield is even better than man u's midfield plus we have more depth.

will not be with the first team this season. so are we gonna play CL and league with a thin midfield? suicidal if u ask me. buoy will be in pescara next season on loan and verratti wants his transition to serie a with pescara...appelt is appelt..may get some first team minutes who knows...padoin is a waste..and..who else is there? pazienza on way out...giaccherini will only play CM by default if none of the specialists are available

also dont underestimate this thing called acclimitisation...youth talent, especially from overseas who have not had playing time with a senior club needs to get accustomed to serie a/b first or else in the managers' eyes it will be a gamble in this results oriented business...

Pogba and Verrati are both creative minded players; they will try to replace Vucinic and Pirlo;

Most of the players you mentioned will be loaned out to other squads next season. Additionally, probably only half of those players will develop into full-time starters for Juve in the future. At 18-21, there is a lot of room for players to go up, down, or stay the same. You don't sign the exact number of prospects you will need at various positions. You sign more than you need. Juve used to do this a lot, but we have gotten so accustomed to Juve struggling signing players since calciopoli that we don't remember what it means to sign quality prospects and first team players.

Pogba will be a fantastic signing.

I think we have signed him for the future, the not too distant future.

I see him rotating with Marchisio in a few years, Vidal (asamoah(eventually Bouy or someone?)) Pirlo (Veratti) Marchisio (Pogba).

Also IMO he's well well well more talented than Marrone, this isn't to say I dislike Marrone but I'd rather have PP in my squad if it was one or the other.

I see our other prospects like Appelt and Bouy as subs to subs. I think they will either be loaned out to view their potential in proper first team environments. And if they flop, hey. We still have PP veratti ect and same applies the other way round, if Pogba (and others) flop we still have Appelt and Bouy. It's not a bad thing to have so many quality back ups for the future. IMO its the best possible way as there is no point putting all our future eggs in one basket to realise they are all rotten, this way we have back up eggs.

I'm very excited about his arrival and future at Juventus! He has the potential to be the next great French CM! He just needs to bulk up a little bit and receive more game time. The technique and vision is already there I rekon.

This move could also put us in the position of being able to sell surplus talent rather than having to spend 80 million euros per transfer window. Juve hasn't been able to invest in younger players outside of their youth academy in a long time because of calciopoli. This move is a very good thing.

Hes a good depth signing as far as im concerned. Now we have Marchisio, Vidal, and Pirlo az our definite starters, with Padoin, Marrone, Appelt, Pogba, and Asamoah as depth. Pazienza is leaving, and Giaccherini and Isla are emergency CM options. Plus theres still the situations of Giandonato, Verratti, and Melo. Giandinato in particular has zhown alot of promise when given the chance, so i would love to bring him back and give him a good amount of playing time for him to develop. Hes another of those creative CMs, so he could even be Pirlos replacement!
