I’d absolutely love a Jessica Cruz film, but doubt it happens. It’s just a straight up resume of Green Lantern rebirth. Don’t think anyone’s ever done a straightforward adaptation of a story arc.

It also looks better than any of Marvel's stuff.

Because this is a huge budget animated theatrical release.

Hard to compare. Hopefully this becomes a succes and there's higher production in the animated films.

Yeah of course. Movies are a 2 year process.

Hopefully they’ll have compressed their slate by comic con and cleared the confusion out there. Shouldn’t really be that hard.

Think it was pitched as Lethal Weapon meets GL.

John is also the Green Lantern I grew up with because of the cartoon, so it’ll be great to see him in a movie.
Hopefully Idris Elba stays dead in Avengers. Him or Trevante Rhodes would be dream choices depending on the age. There’s an incredible amount of talented black actors out there without huge parts, so it won’t be hard to cast this though.

Mars den is the perfect Hal Jordan though.

Hate I’m gonna be like 30 when this comes out though.

They'll have to put him on some of the good stuff and a workout regimen then. He's thin as rails, but an incredible actor.

Wouldn't be surprised if he were cast as the Joker at some point in the future tbh.

Ehh we live in age when Zach Levi is going to be Shazam ....Stanfield would do fine. Him as the Joker would be awesome though.

Hell Donald Glover could probably do it too, especially after that Teddy Perkins episode of Atlanta.

That Zach Levi transformation was quick as hell, so anything can happen. Still can't believe Chuck is going to be an actual superhero. Perfect casting though. He's got the perfect personality for it.

Oh.. Teddy Perkins is probably too next level creepy for even The Joker

God that episode was incredible and basically guaranteed all the awards for Donald Glover this year.

Amber Heard is Seth Rogen's girlfriend in Pineapple Express. And the crazy zombie in Zombieland that attack's Eisenberg. She's really great in The Danish Girl also, but I don't think you've seen that.
