Nobody bar Messi can give you this level of football from the scoring and creativity perspective simultaneously. And no I'm not talking about assists, which neymar has 8 of them btw. 1 in every 2 games

Tuchel completely transformed him to a player who is far more effective now than he was before on the wings. Agree with the No.10 reinvention. I'd call it false second striker'.

But then again, he is playing in a star-studded team with the rest of the league a few levels below PSG so experimentation is easy and effective, whereas it might not pay off on the bigger stage.

Infact his quality even provoked the debate that "neymar is the biggest talent the French league has ever seen" in the ESPN studio (well known neymar haters) and not just by anybody but JULIEN which is one of the biggest French journalist and the biggest Paris supporter currently..

and yes Julien specifically said he was better Every single creature that's ever walked the grounds of the league 1 including the French ones

He has 0 goals in a grand total of one appearance in CL, this criticism would be valid if he played and flopped.

Agree on Ligue 1 being farmers league though.

Ligue 1 is the equivalent of Bundesliga which is the equivalent of Serie A. Basically, if you're not playing in Spain or England, you're a fraud until proven otherwise.

This doesn't apply to Neymar as he very much succeeded in Spain.

Neymar is proven. The only reason he's being disrespected is because he's been injured not because he's been bad. The second best player in the world. He and Messi are the only two players who can score, dribble, and create all to a word class degree.

Also people shit on Neymar's attitude but Mbappe isn't much better. Once again there's videos circulating of him blowing a fit after being subbed off when PSG are already leading 4-0 looool.

Neymar is a great player. but performing in league 1 is no accomplishment. specially when you play for PSG.
