Official: Neymar signs for PSG

He was extremely good in his first 1.5 years at PSG too... like incredible. But, like most Brazilian stars, unfortunately, the lifestyle started catching up to him. You can't party all night long, all the time, and stay at the same level athletically. As soon as he got to his late 20s, injuries happened and he looked slower. Remember he looked like a fat pig to start 2021-2022.

Extreme sense of entitlement too. I don't like him because I feel like he's cheated football fans by not taking care of himself.

What do u think of this? Real or is he faking it? Cos Neymar tends to be a bit of cry baby... I know athletes push themselves a lot n for injuries to heal u need to do that, but is this normal?

He played as a winger, same as Messi. When you say "in midfield" you make it seem like he played CM or something

Messi played in a 4-3-3 as an inside forward. Ronaldo played on the left and right of a traditional 4-4-2, which is far different from a forward.

Can't find a heat map pre-2009 for CR but pretty sure Messi played more as a "midfielder" throughout his career based on positional heat maps. But Ronaldo wasn't a 'fox in the box' either, which makes both their records rather impressive

Inside forwards run into the center and have space there, wide midfielders have 2 strikers in front of them and have to attack wide, these are very different roles and no heat map can change that fact.

Posted this because I consider Neymar the second best player in Messi era. But such a wasted talent, going to PSG was his career mistake.
