its just a game psg's playing. i doubt barcelona want to sell, secondly i doubt neymar wants to leave barcelona, thirdly i think this is just psg's response to the verratti situation. like you want to unsettle our side with money, we have money too and can unsettle you guys. i don't see it happening at all.....and that's if the rumor is true to begin with. we all know how easy it is for stories to be made up just to sell papers or get hits. someone can wake up tomorrow and write an article about some club targeting 3 players for half a billion euros. and they won't even mention who the 3 players are. its that part of transfers that i don't like

The journalist is Marcelo Bechler who is a very good journalist and the only non Spanish reporter who gets to ask questions at Barça's press conferences.

PSG would do well to stay away. You can see the lifestyle that Neymar leads, which is very similar to other Brazilian superstars of the past (such as Ronaldinho). His peak won't last. I can see him go on a downward trend from age 28 on. So you're paying 200 mil for 3 years with questionable resale value if he does in fact start to fade.

Isn't Barca already kind of struggling because of the wages of the front three? Giving Neymar a huge raise would mean they'd have to give Messi a raise as well. At least. At some point you just can't do it. There's only so much of your money you can spend on three players.

Messi just signed a new contract this month and Neymar signed a new contract in October, and Suarez signed his early last season. They are all staying, I don't buy any of this tbh. My only 2 guesses why this rumor popped up

1. PSG spread the rumor to be asholes, tired of us chasing Veratti.
2. Neymar's father spread the rumor because after Messi got a raise, he wants his son to get one of equal caliber as well. Neymar has been talking all summer about how last season was his best season ever, when that's questionable. I'm guessing this is the real reason. If this is true, then no one is actually activating his 222M release clause, and Barca aren't selling. So he will have to just be happy with the new contract he signed in October.

With 200m €, Barca would sign 15 unknown players from the 2nd Brazilian league who eventually never actually set foot into Barcelona

So this looks like it's about to happen. A lot of close sources to Barca including the media are saying PSG offers has Neymar and his father licking then fingers and with a lot of Brazilian players there he'll seem more at home.

Glad he chose Barca. He would've bled us dry and then left us high and dry like he's been doing to Barca. I suppose it's their fault for letting the front 3 sign improved contracts every other year
