Russia need a faster striker, Smolov doesnt suit the midfield.

Smolov puts great numbers in the russian league. It's not like they an Arshavin on the bench

This isn't the Cheryshev I remember
What a start for Russia. A draw against Egypt could be good for them now with their strong GD.

Asia is a disgrace.
How did this team make it to the WC? imagine more Asian scrubs when the world cup expands to 48 teams.

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group A (Russia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Uruguay)
Have to say that was a top WC opening for me. Nice opening, 5-0 out of nowhere, 2 great goals for CDR GOAT Cherishev, and even unnecessary but hilarious shots of Infantino sitting awkwardly between Putin and the Saudi prince as Russia scored 5 goals.

Just been sent this, appears to be a bear in a jeep, blowing a vuvuzela (?) and then giving a quenelle salute. And told it's happening somewhere in Moscow. pic.twitter.com/Tg0Hj0taSo

Russia ranked 70 in FIFA and Saudi Arabia is 67. They need to change the ranking system to make it more realistic.
