Who will qualify? (Select two teams)
Re: World Cup (2018) - Group A (Russia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Uruguay)
Egypt lost all rights to sympathy when their fans started using the vuvuzelas non stop.
Also they had 2 player nicknamed Trezeguet and Electricity. It's like a bad game of FM.
Went in passively rooting for Uruguay and ended up actively rooting against Egypt.

Based on that game i would look to try and get Cavani in the box more and let Suarez create.
Cavani looks a lot more confident in and around goal to me.

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group A (Russia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Uruguay)
I was about to ask but then felt as if I had missed something obvious
can anyone explain to me why the one Egypt player is called Trezeguet, exactly?
Because it's apparently not his actual name, and as a nickname it's.. well.. the name of another unrelated player..?
How do you justify this nonsense?

It's even on his shirt, isn't it?
Imagine if suddenly we started calling Timo Werner "David Villa", and then also wrote David Villa on his jersey, and on the teamsheet, instead of Werner, people would be asking questions and rightly so

His real name is Mahmoud Ahmed Ibrahim Hassan, he's not even similar in playing style to David lmao

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group A (Russia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Uruguay)
It is his nickname ^^, I guess it has stuck with him and he's more known by it than his given name
It doesn't seem too wild to me, more so a non-factor
Can't wait for Firenze to make his pro debut with "Numpty" on the back of his shirt after his mercato guru career fails

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group A (Russia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Uruguay)
I don't mind nicknames but this one is especially weird to me because:
A) The commentators use it in the game rather than his real name.
B) The nickname holds no significance considering it's derived from another football with no similarities.
Its like Pogba being called Maradona randomly imo
Kaka is an acceptable nickname imo

It's actually pretty funny, reminds me of when you're kids at school playing kickabout football we all named ourselves after players, Giggsy, Henry, Ronaldinho, Taibi, Totti, etc
except this lad just took it one step further and never grew up

But the world will call him Jabroni because of S and that nickname will stick with him in NT football.

@BC considers Uruaguay as an extension of Argentina, basically Argentine's B team

Salah is not fit 100% . I think he will be targeted by the hosts. Tough game ahead for Egypt.
