Who will qualify? (Select two teams)
Re: World Cup (2018) - Group A (Russia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Uruguay)
Russia ranked 70 in FIFA and Saudi Arabia is 67. They need to change the ranking system to make it more realistic.

things you can't do in public in Russia; kiss a person of the same gender
things you can do in public in Russia: ride around in an open roof car with a bear blowing a vuvuzuela
absolutely mental country

Russians look like they've been doping hard before this WC... do you think FIFA would have the ball to test them and DQ them if they found something? I don't lol.

How did this team make it to the WC? imagine more Asian scrubs when the world cup expands to 48 teams.
Nah, Saudi is the worst of the 5 teams from Asia. The rest 4 will be competitive. Also 100% of Saudi's players play in Saudi Arabia and never leave the country.
I'd rather watch teams like Saudi Arabia give it a go for a win rather than watching England win 5 games out of 6 and still disappoint everyone involved or not involved.
Its the World cup not Farfan's choice Cup, Asia needs the global exposure. If you want a competitive cup from point A, Stick to euros, make a petition to add Brazil and Argentina to it and stop cribbing.

Loool, Putin to the Saudi Prince "Let us score another one or else I'll nuke you", Putin was certainly happy at the end

tbh I have to wonder how the hell we managed to nearly lose to the Saudis last week
have to admit a group stage exit for Germany is looking likelier and likelier

Not surprised.
Godin is the type of defender if you had a bruised wrist he would consistently slap your wrist on corners.

Salah is not starting? WTF
Edit: That said hoping Uruguay destroys Egypt so that Salah can come back home in time.

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group A (Russia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Uruguay)
Its a sensible thing to do imo. Better not to risk an unfit Salah at this point against the best team in the group. I'm sure they'd fancy their chances against Russia with a fully fit Salah on the other hand.

Every half-decent team would have looked like on drugs against Saudi Arabia.

They are afraid Godin is going to snap his other shoulder.
Don't blame them tbh.

This is the most bizarre stadium I've seen. Imagine sitting in those stands behind the goal while it's raining and not being able to go anywhere. And the people sitting at the top will barely see the other end of the pitch because of the roof.

They're all in the stands behind the goal, which you can barely see on TV
I remember seeing De Arrascaeta at a youth tournament a few years back. Banged in a few screamers iirc.

He carried Juve to the Scudetto with his 568 minutes played and 6.41 whoscored rating. Humble and hard working, put some respect on his name.

BBC melts really hyping up Bentacur as possibly being on of the starlets of the tournament and young player of the year? umm, this is the Juve scrub, right?
