Predict Arsenal's next coach
Re: Next Arsenal Manager Watch
The hipster cancer continues. And certain man wonder why I rep clubs like Millwall & Southend United these days.
Hipsters favourite managers;
Arteta 0 years - 0 trophies
Nagelsmann 2 years - 0 trophies
Sarri 14 years - 0 trophies
Tuchel - 11 years - 0 trophies
Pochettino - 9 years - 0 trophies
Hipsters least liked managers;
Allegri - 15 years - 12 trophies
Simeone - 12 years - 7 trophies
Mourinho - 18 years - 25 trophies
Same hipster dickheads who want Arteta thought he was a top player for us . It's the exact same split, only beta male Wenger fanboys loved him in the first place. Zero managerial exp, zero drawing power. Imagine what someone like Ramsey thinks. An ex shit player coming back to give you orders
Of course AKBs love it because it's a continuation of Arsene FC, an irrelevant safe middle class club.
The good thing with Arteta I guess is that he hasnt got credit like Wenger, one or two poor seasons and he'll be out. New Bruce Rioch, or more likely just soldifying Arsenals new status as a rich mans Everton. Beta club status confirmed the day Arteta is announced.

ufff. uffff. never want to see these jobbers mentioned again when discussing top managers.
Arteta to Arsenal would be pure banter after angrily calling for Wenger to leave for years and then they end up with a disgusting list of candidates.

I never called David Moyes an elite manager though and was as dismayed as most United fans when he was appointed by Fergie. Bit of a difference you numpty.

Who called Arteta an elite manager though? The vast majority of Arsenal fans are incredibly disappointed, just read some Arsenal forums if you want to know what real displeasure is.

Might as well make Ozil the manager. Imagine Ozil following Arteta's orders

Re: Next Arsenal Manager Watch
I really hope for Arsenal and Arteta's sake that Arsenal don't choose Arteta as the next manager.
The impression I get from Arsenal fans I know is that they believe things cannot get worse.
Things can get a lot worse, and regardless of who they choose it probably will get worse for a couple years until a proper manager can get across his philosophy, along with signing the right players to fix the problem areas all over the pitch.
I can almost see the narrative forming- Arteta fails as expected, and old man Wenger comes out of retirement to save his beloved club back to 6th place.

Re: Next Arsenal Manager Watch
as befitting of our greatest rivals in the PL era, won't be outdone by us appointing Moyes after our manager stepped down after a legendary reign
hell, Arteta even blossomed and became a good player under the ginger genius Moyesie
uff, unreal appointment
wouldn't have any chance of happening if Arteta hadn't been under Pep the last couple of seasons, like that suddenly qualifies him as a good choice ffs
Maybe he will surprise us though after being moulded by Wenger, Pep and Moyes, that's some lineage tbh

Re: Next Arsenal Manager Watch
Yeah, Pep has become basically the biggest propaganda tool since whatever Goebbels was up to. Be his assistant or just a coach under him and you're definitely gonna get a lot of good press because you "worked under Pep".
Don't even need to work for him at all, just say you follow his work and you'll be taken serious. Somehow.

Barcelona hired his assistant in 2012 who had no managerial experience at a big club and won La Liga. Would have probably a lot more had he not passed away but yeah probably only got the job because of good press or maybe David Moyes wasn't available.

Re: Next Arsenal Manager Watch
Experiencing hiring and firing managers over the past 8 years, being an Inter supporter, the last thing Arsenal should do is hire a manager without substantial experience as the manager (not an assistant) with a top club in a top league. Scrimping on a manager's salary is foolhardy for a club that wants to regain past glory.

Re: Next Arsenal Manager Watch
I don't. I would really love to see a rejuvenated Newcastle under Rafa. But your dastardly chairman will spend only as much to prevent another drop. While I will hate to see Arsenal become the new Everton with a manager like Arteta (I mean, seriously???)Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:iftikhar wrote:Just take Rafa FFS

Replacing Wenger with Arteta is like replacing Marco van Basten with John Crew. It's just sacrilege.

I wasn't being serious I know you don't, as for Arsenal it's clear they don't want a manager of Rafa's profile.
If they did he'd go there I would have no doubt.

Emery is the chosen one:
BREAKING: Arsenal to appoint Unai Emery as new manager. Thorough process produced 46yo Spaniard as unanimous choice. Available after leaving #PSG (1 Lg1 title, 4 cups), previously Sevilla (3 EL wins), not fluent English. Announcement + press conference likely later this week #AFC

Re: Next Arsenal Manager Watch
Hella surprising out of nowhere this news came today
Like someone said, Arteta was just the smokescreen
At least, it is someone with managerial experience. The langauge barrier might indeed be a bit of problem, will be interesting to see how that goes.
