Predict Arsenal's next coach
Re: Next Arsenal Manager Watch
Arsenal hope to name boss by World Cup. #AFC want proper process & to respect those in jobs. No idea who but not Simeone, Tuchel (#PSG may confirm Wed), Löw (#GER stay likely), Rodgers, Faria etc. Don't sense Enrique, hear Allegri plans to leave #Juventus but unclear on next move

Now that's a proper brexit man.
Shame about Rodgers though.
I still do think it's Nagelsmann

Re: Next Arsenal Manager Watch
Would be somewhat jealous of you getting Nagelsmann.
Most of all, so would be BVB, and I think that's what your club is angling for these days.

Re: Next Arsenal Manager Watch
BVB are apparently about to announce Favre. So Nagelsmann continues to be available.
He has a release clause for 2019 and Hopp was said to not let him leave before that. I wonder if they would deny him a chance like Arsenal though.
Still, sounds like a step too big for me, for both sides.

Re: Next Arsenal Manager Watch
On a serious note, I think Nagelsmann would be the ideal available signing for many reasons:
1. Has overachieved with previous team (twice) despite losing key players. Ultimately the new Arsenal manager will have to overachieve.
2. Good with youth players. Because we have some really exciting talents coming up, the new manager will have to play and develop them.
3. Tactically it makes sense with the players we have. Nagelsmann plays with two strikers up front and an attacking midfielder behind them. Perfect situation to make the most of Aubameyang, Lacazette and Özil.
I think my top 3 ranking of what I would prefer is this. And because Tuchel is all but signed, I'm leaving him out:
1. Allegri
2. Nagelsmann
3. Jardim
And if any of these fail then I would go for Carlo Ancelotti at worst he will make this team a top 4 contender.

Re: Next Arsenal Manager Watch
underwhelming but interesting. Biggest problem with Arteta is that he doesn't really command authority with his presence. Can he ask Ozil to grow a spine? I doubt it.
Allegri on the other hand will force ozil to cook Pasta in Arabiata sauce for the entire club if he fake illness to get away from a game

Re: Next Arsenal Manager Watch
The Times newspaper claims Arsenal are confident of signing Max Allegri, but most Italian papers believe he’ll stay at Juventus.
The Bianconeri are ready to complete their fourth consecutive domestic double of Coppa Italia and Scudetto, with a seventh straight Serie A title.
Allegri has long been linked with the Arsenal job after Arsene Wenger announced he would be leaving at the end of the season.
According to The Times newspaper in England, Arsenal believe they took a big step forward in negotiations yesterday and already discussed staff, transfer budgets and strategy with his agent.
However, most Italian sources now believe Allegri will stay at Juventus for at least another year.

Re: Next Arsenal Manager Watch
Dunno why people are being so critical of Arsenal fans.
As if any other fanbase would act any different, they were rightly critical of a man who had clearly declined and taking the club backwards.
But once he announces he's going to leave you rightly remember him for what he did for you and celebrate that.
This isn't rocket science and no other fan base would act any different, anyone who says otherwise are straight up lying.

Re: Next Arsenal Manager Watch
It was all banter in the end anyway. Our fans responded with "Herbert Chapman, he left because you're shit". To which Huddersfield fans responded with "How shit must you be, we've been on the piss". So yeah, end of season hijinks and all that.

If it's Arteta, then all I want from next season is him and Pep exchanging punches on the touchline after a red card Xhaka tackle.

Re: Next Arsenal Manager Watch
The hipster cancer continues. And certain man wonder why I rep clubs like Millwall & Southend United these days.
Hipsters favourite managers;
Arteta 0 years - 0 trophies
Nagelsmann 2 years - 0 trophies
Sarri 14 years - 0 trophies
Tuchel - 11 years - 0 trophies
Pochettino - 9 years - 0 trophies
Hipsters least liked managers;
Allegri - 15 years - 12 trophies
Simeone - 12 years - 7 trophies
Mourinho - 18 years - 25 trophies
Same hipster dickheads who want Arteta thought he was a top player for us . It's the exact same split, only beta male Wenger fanboys loved him in the first place. Zero managerial exp, zero drawing power. Imagine what someone like Ramsey thinks. An ex shit player coming back to give you orders
Of course AKBs love it because it's a continuation of Arsene FC, an irrelevant safe middle class club.
The good thing with Arteta I guess is that he hasnt got credit like Wenger, one or two poor seasons and he'll be out. New Bruce Rioch, or more likely just soldifying Arsenals new status as a rich mans Everton. Beta club status confirmed the day Arteta is announced.
