Carlo Ancelotti next RM manager watch
please be careful of the words used, they are not talking about a deal being struck, but an understanding, a verbally expressed will of both parties to work together. that's it for now.

Sounds like we have started rounding up candidates.
Balague said in la revista that we had approached a coach already, and that might be carlo.
terrible news, this is pure shit, carlo as madrid coach, good god. Mediocre president you are Perez, 4 more years of misery under you. Carlo? ffs, get a grip fatass

Re: Carlo Ancelotti next RM manager watch
Balague on Rafa: "I can confirm that Rafa has not been approached by Chelsea."
12 hours later he was officially announced as interim coach

true that, but this is infact not a balague information. i used what he said to correlate to this story, not that the "fat madrid hating and pep pussi eating" spaniard is all that reliable.

Re: Carlo Ancelotti next RM manager watch
Oh yeah. Only Rafa would be a better choice than Carlo from the "top" coaches.
With the league flop Ancelotti, Madrid would be surrendering the league title at week 10 every year. Signing Ancelotti would basically mean they only want to win the CL regardless of anything.

Re: Carlo Ancelotti next RM manager watch
he was carried by a great milan team and thats why he won cl with milan, he is actually a crap manager and we wont win anything with him
this is why im against sacking mou, honestly, who else is there in this market? there are no better coach than mou in the market, we just have to settle with what we have. carlo is crap and benitez is better but wouldnt want him either

it's a terrible news free cat. it's like the universe is playing a trick on him.
saving my psg of carlo but dumping him on madrid.
saving my madrid of mou but not handing me mourinho at psg.
Carlo is as tactically decisive as a squirrel trying to figure which nuts to crack.

I think this would only mean more Serie A exodus Cavani to Madrid
Oh and Congrats to Barca already for another 2 league titles or for how much ever longer he is at the club

Re: Carlo Ancelotti next RM manager watch
You know... Carlo is doing a darn good job at PSG despite all the prima donas on the team and the uncertainty surrounding his future. Personally, i can only go by what i've experienced in detail, not his previous reputation. He's done a very good job at PSG. The team is going to win Ligue 1, the cup and get to CL quarters at least. The brand of football is good too. To add to it, he's developing Verrati, Lucas and has also toughened up Sakho.
Say what you want. But the guy has been good. Not my favorite choice for Madrid because he's not really a progressive manager in his style... i wanted to see an innovator come in as opposed to one of the old guard. But if i were to pick someone from the old guard, it would be Carlo.

Re: Carlo Ancelotti next RM manager watch
The brand of football? what brand? there is none, it's just a lot of fast paced attacks, lots of counters, wide plays etc... that's not a brand. the amount of time he changed his formation and style means he has none and will just look for a way to adapt to what he has, which isnt a bad thing per say. but he has no defined style. Perez is back in charge, and this is a disaster incoming. winning L1 shouldnt be held as a trophy for Carlo, it's a given, and he is struggling to break from the other scrub teams. Lyon's manager might be better than he is nowadays.

Re: Carlo Ancelotti next RM manager watch
If Ancelotti doesn't play good football, then we shouldn't get him.
I can't think of many old elite managers that do actually play good football. It's a lot of the younger managers. Hopefully we get someone who plays good football.

And by the way, even madrid fans in Spain would rather have someone progressive like Laudrup.
Laudrup is currently crushing a manager poll on AS website, 70% fans want him, 17% benitez, 13% Carlo.
the fat italian better be someone kind of insurance plan

Carlo would do wonders with Madrid the squad you guys have i would expect him to win the CL in his second season and i don't think he would be bad in the league.

Re: Carlo Ancelotti next RM manager watch
There's definitely a brand Nick. The CBs and fullbacks don't hoof... the team always goes through the midfield. It's not tiki taka by any means. But it is a constructed offensive scheme. Once the team gets into the opponent's half, you see fullbacks overlap properly. The entire width is maintained. The inconsistencies of the buildup can be pegged on the inconsistency of those with the responsibility to create: Pastore and Verrati. Pastore is moody and Verrati is young.
Carlo is a much better tactician than Mou imo. He fails with player management at times... but that's it.

casemiro isnt at madrid because of carlo, not even close. And again, since no one read the OP, Carlo has not been appointed as coach, he has been approached, and i doubt he will be the only one.

Carried by a Milan team
Same logic that usually applies to Pep being carried by Barcelona's team when he actually developed and harnessed the players strengths and weaknesses.
Carlo did the same with Pirlo, Kaka, Gattuso, Costa (switch band donadoni type role) along with the team being raw, undeveloped and a misconstrued mess before him. Did I mention that he created an absolute brilliant system fuelled by some ridiculously meticulous tactics which drove that team?
The league flop thing is also highly exaggerated as Calciopoli caused damage to Milan. While at Chelsea he won a double in his first year with an aging Chelsea, 2nd year was marred right when he was ordered to play Torres in all conditions.
Let the myth die.

Back home, I have reasonable sources (not as good as Sportz, Nick etc) regarding Milanese notizie and I predict it will be none other than Allegri. Cannot see Carlo going to Roma just yet.

Re: Carlo Ancelotti next RM manager watch
here we go again going for names rather than long term "better fit" coaches whom people might not know off
both carlo and rafa would be disasters waiting to happen at madrid, doubt they would complete more than one season at the helm.
why cant we just do what atleti or barca did? sign a coach who bleeds the club?
I would love pochetino at our club, the guy loves us and his teams actually know how to roll the ball around properly.
