Ciro Immobile- Best Striker in Europe 2020 Edition

I would never respect or like Lazio nor can I take a striker named immobile serious.

With today's goal he ties the record (he set himself in the 17/18 season) of the most goals scored in a Lazio Serie A season with 29. 29 goals and 8 assists in 29 Serie A games.

He has 9 games to further extend his lead.

He already has the highest number of goals in a single UEFA competition for Lazio (8 ), and now the 2 highest seasons as capo in Serie A (29 and 29).

After seeing his performances in Dortmund, Sevilla, Italy NT and big games, my feelings are pretty much the same.

Normal to hear this from Milan fans. He scores almost as much as the whole Milan team combined

i would rate still luis alberto and savic as much of an influential figure - luis alberto is almost never talked about here

Mates, the player with 29 goals and 7 assists in 29 games is the most influential one in the team. It is clear that when Immobile isnt on his game, Lazio doesnt function. They basically dont win if he isnt on point.

As for scoring only when it doesnt matter, he scored in almost every game this season lol. He scored and/or assisted against every top 6 team except for us, and we still have the return leg to play, hope it stays that way.

well luis alberto pretty much creates all the assists for ciro so he have it all the goals glory
luis alberto - 28 games -> 15 assist ; that is not mentioning the man pivotal on buildup plays too bringing savic along

i would love to see how immobile fares without luis alberto
also that if immobile scores a solo efforts without anyones help like he did against Napoli i can certainly give him more credit

also when lazio are ineffective upfront with forwards - whoever they play caisedo or correa partnering up with immobile its ususally luis alberto who unlocks everything

GL is notoriously one that favours playmakers and artists over goalscorers hence why Higuain to Lewandowski to other super prolific finishers do not get the respect they deserve and here is no different.

Ciro has been the best in Lazio for a reason.


He adds more than goals and a lot of the crucial ones scored were done singlehandedly by him as Alberto applies more to the overall team. Immobile never was one who needs very good service but a system to apply to his strengths to whom only Inzaghi (and Klopp technically) has done so far in his career.


Penalties too deserve credit for yes they are open chances but overlooked for their factors of difficulty in comparison to instinctual finishes.

He really pisses people off here

Once again, Luis Alberto provided 6 assist to Immobile's 35 goals. Immobile was even the second highest assist man for Lazio with 9.

Unreal amount of carrying this team. 44 G+A in 35 games besides just generally helping Lazio's play.

Anyway, his 3rd Capo title and the European Golden Boot, @Luca was a visionary with his title in the end.

Only Piola stands in his way for the remaining of Lazio's scorong records.

Inzaghi brilliance aside Immobidone has indeed carried Lazio.

Naming guys like Alberto to others is almost stretching it but more so he has just been that much more important. And key goals as is the point.

cmon still 6 assists just to dish it out for immobile is a good number of goals + 14 pks, plus how many goals immobile has scored without luis alberto XD that i want to know.
he is a great striker though - for lazio ....

Immobile when he loses confidence just becomes what he does.

He was better than given credit for such as how no one mentions he created the space for Chiesa to score v Spain but as the tournament wore on his self doubts and neuroticism took over more and more and looked a shadow of who leads Lazio by the balls.
