I'm the furthest thing from being biased, but I respectfully disagree with Alves being among the best XI. Actually, I have a couple of other choices I didn't agree with but that one stands out. I thought Carvajal was the best RB in the world last season.

Oh well, maybe I'm wrong.

He deserves it, I guess. But he's had a very bad start to this current season while Messi has been performing like a God.

This one is already wrapped, but if he keeps on playing like an amateur, the Ballon d'Or might have a different outcome.

Alves was crap for almost the whole season and for the most part only showed up in some CL games, where in some he wasn't even playing RB.

Pretty much same can be same of the actual winner Ronaldo, everyone knows though the awards nowadays are a combo of popularity, prestige, achievement, and then player ability coming last. Or else Messi would be winning it every year Very Happy

Yeah I think this guy was also used as a model for Far Cry 3's main character (Vaas Montenegro) and after playing the game I've seen Kurzawa play for PSG and I was like wtf he's a football player too?? lol
