Re: Tottenham's legitimacy watch
Well, they do have defensive mastermind, player elevator Pochettino in charge. I expect a convincing victory

Re: Tottenham's legitimacy watch
Well, there is a return leg at Wembley so this isn't such a do or die match for them. Still though, match taking so damn long to start...

Re: Tottenham's legitimacy watch
Poch's hand was forced by missing Dele, Davies, Dembele, Wanyama, Rose, and Lamela
No clue why he's not playing Son though
Poch usually doesn't change for the opposition but we're seeing some flexibility here tonight. Think Spurs might be going for a classic defend and counter/try and nick off a set piece. Don't mind it really. That many players out while playing Madrid at the Bernabeau, you can't play what you play against EPL fodder
If Spurs get any points tonight at all it's a miracle. This thread was created cuz RG knows Spurs aren't winning lmao

Re: Tottenham's legitimacy watch
I feel a bit sorry for Son. He wanted to leave apparently but Poch convinced him to stay. He gets shafted quite often and left out of the starting 11. Hope he leaves end of this season, should be starting week in week out for a decent team.
also including Lamela's name he's been out for like 2 years lad and he's trash to boot

Re: Tottenham's legitimacy watch
Was a starter before he got injured though regarding Lamela
Disagree re:Son. He gets quite a lot of playing time. It's just that when you're not as good as Kane, Eriksen or Dele...what do you want him to do? Poch has played him at LWB multiple times even, he definitely could be getting less time. I haven't a clue why he isn't playing today though, and I would prefer him to Llorente.

@ Poch
tactical genius
Hoping for a big performance from Sissoko so Madrid reignite their interest in him from a couple years ago imo
don't be surprised if he gets MOTM

I don't really think Alli's better than Son tbh

Re: Tottenham's legitimacy watch
It's a legitimate decision between the two. Dele edges it for me, though he's been average this season.
Wouldn't mind if Son left though. I hope he doesn't as he's great depth, but I would love to see him playing week in week out. Lad is talented enough to play week in week out for a good team

Spurs said they came to win. Looks like they came not to lose. We have made it too easy for their defence too

Madrid can't even beat a Spurs team that's depeleted of half of their best 11? lmao
nvm Isco, Madrid hype needs to die down a bit.
