Re: Tottenham's legitimacy watch
Don't need to fight the Pep fight again this season. Just going to wait for the results to come in as the season goes along just like they have for Pep this season
People also laughed when I said Spurs would go through and take a win off Madrid and they've topped it with a game to go.

I thought spurs were having a super season from all the posts and then I checked
Hilarious teams Spurs have dropped points to in the last month:
The Ashley Young team
The Wenger team
Poor man's Manchester United
Leicester

but..but..Pochettino will win the PL and not focus on scrub trophies like Capital One Cup.
fraud that got hyped for finishing 3rd in a two horse race, finsihing 2nd in a weak as f PL season, and beating a team *bleep* Girona beat two days ago
Argentine Montella. Never want to hear anything about him again.

1) I would post the list for Milan but I don't wanna post like 14 teams
2) I said month, so the Juve list would be... just Samp. Throw in draws against Barca and Sporting if you wanna include CL, doesn't matter.
3) Unlike irrelevant teams like Spurs and Milan, we are not hyping ourselves up to heavens based on nothing but hope
Hyping up a team and a manager that can't get past Genk and loses to Wenger in 2017. ES pls. You used to be above this. Don't let Milan's extremely low bar, also lower your bar for proper football.

probably have to go back to the middle ages before the last trophy any of these teams won, bar Lisbon of course, but my Fifa trophies hold more weight than anything won in Portugal.
As you can see Spurs competition have been nothing to sneeze at, they will still be favorites over Juve IMO

Re: Tottenham's legitimacy watch
Just be patient, a few more years of Marotta wheeling and dealing aka replacing Dybala and Bernardeschi with Mario Gomez and Lucas Vasquez, you'll be back to irrelevancy.
Just be hopeful you'll get the historic 10th silver Cl medal before it.

This is the worst thing about all of this. Unreal disrespect shown to 'smaller' trophies. Guess he's all in for CL now 50cent.gif

Re: Tottenham's legitimacy watch
Boggles my mind that Juventus supporters are actually having a go at Spurs rn
Spurs are irrelevant and Juventus are supposed to be one of the best in Europe and one of the Elite Italian teams of all time.
Unbelievably small time from them to even bother with it. Then again, aren't these the same people that supported Napoli resting their players in the CL?

Re: Tottenham's legitimacy watch
Won't deny that Spurs are going through a drop in form, which is natural really. The best CB in the league is missing and Wanyama who has been absolutely key in his DM role. Add to that the sitters missed today (Spurs could've scored 3 goals with their finishing boots on) and you get the current situation. But Toby will be back soon and finishing can't always bee so shit.
Oh and Lamela is back and made an instant impact, getting an assist in 2 minutes. Like a new signing
Should bench that scrub Sissoko for good.

Eriksen has been shocking. I think it might be fatigue, wouldn't be surprised after he's carried Danish NT to the world cup.
Could do with some rest. West Brom and today he isn't even controlling passes well...absolutely awful.

Re: Tottenham's legitimacy watch
@rincon its not that its me hyping Spurs, its that Juve is so bad and Juve fans have been trying to conceal it for a while. Any uppermidcard CL team can pick Juve apart on their day. Spurs, showed up to Real, you barely showed up to Barca and got a proper whooping. Milan has nothing to do with this, you criminals like to bring this up in every critique of Juve like its some godsend that we suck, and maybe it is, because otherwise we'd put you in your place as usual.

Poor ball control is often a sign of fatigue, again another aspect that Ladmela's arrival should help sort out.

Re: Tottenham's legitimacy watch
Let's not pretend that Leicester are utterly shite btw. All away games are tough in the PL, just a fact. And while Leicester aren't elite they've shown even last season they're more than capable of beating top teams. I think Spurs will still compete for 4th.

No coincidence that Spurs worst performances are coming in a period where Eriksen is not playing to his lvl. GOAT player. Won't entertain the hate for him.

Re: Tottenham's legitimacy watch
@Kaladin
The Barca game was in september and everyone was injured. Caligara played ffs, an 18 yo called Merio (last time you'll hear that name again) went to the Camp Nou. De Sciglio, Bentancur, Costa and Matuidi debuted. Keep holding on to that though, hold on to whatever it takes to keep the Juve hate alive.
We would smash Spurs, no doubt about it. I wonder how many times we'll have to hear about random scrubs "picking us apart" in CL.
You know that we haven't actually lost a two legged tie in the knockouts since Conte arrived except for Bayern right?
Now you are telling me that irrelevant teams you bandwagon would pick us apart

I've always been a fan of Eriksen lol. In fact, all Spurs fans have. He was literally Tottenham's only good player through the banter era of AVB/Sherwood post Bale. Scored tons of late goals, free kicks.
Been good ever since Poch arrived too.
Basically, you're talking out of your ass like usual
