Please enlighten me what these efficiencies are? I can bet you any money Saka doesn't even come close to Vini in any of those metrics you mentioned. Back up your statements with facts or get outta here
Saka doesn't even have better defensive stats talk much about offensive ones
i have earlier in this thread and you bozo's couldn't come up with a response except for "he's done it on the bigger stage"... so i'll do it again...
So what part of this is better than Vini? You said he was better passer, dribbler and whatever else you mentioned. You are yet to show me stats that back up your claim. What you posted shows him as having more g/a in the league. In all club competitions Saka has 14 goals and 11 goals. He has basically scored 99% of his goals in the league and got 99,9% of his assists in the league. In contrast Vini has 17 goals and 9 assists. So even in his off season Vinu still trumps Sakas best season. And we haven't even begun to talk about all the other metrics that exist where Saka doesn't even come close to Vini. You are embarrassing yourself still going on about this

Re: Vinicius Jr signs for Madrid
so where are your metrics that shows Saka doesn't even come close to Vinicius?? why am i the only one pulling up stats in this discussion?
i only pulled up the league stats for each because it's the fairest comparison since Arsenal tanked all cup competitions this season in favour for the league. Saka also didn't play in all those cup games. This does not mean i do not recognise Vinicius' output in all comps.
purposefully ignoring the world cup stats i pulled up

He was a large reason why we scored both goals. He definitely had 1 assist maybe even 2 if you count the first goalEl Gunner wrote:what did he do? i see no goal or assist on the stat sheet, i see no Harmonica-esque gifs or highlights...

Re: Vinicius Jr signs for Madrid
Saka is immense. I mean if we had Vini and Saka we would be cooking for decades. But Saka bleeds for Arsenal as Vini bleeds for Real
Vini has grown so much and Im proud to have witnessed it. I went from wanting him sold or loaned out in 2021 to one of our most important players.
I think the question we have to ask now is if Vini can be the one to lead the attack. I still think we will need a partner for him post-Benzema. Whether its Mbappe, Haaland, Endrick, Alvaro... I believe he's more of the Robin type than the Batman. I can be proven wrong.
My biggest pet peeve of all this is how Madrid players do not get world renown recognition they deserve to get.

joke's on you, Saka doesn't play LW... but it tells me all i need to know - most of you Madrid fans here don't even watch Arsenal and Saka, and then you pretend you know it all.

i don't see the problem here... one of the best things on this forum is probably to be Harmonica-pilled.
Dude has had the foresight and guts to worship Messi long before Messi solidified himself as the GOAT. He has posted stat algorithms after stat algorithms for more than a decade on this forum, proving Messi's superiority. And the best people could do was laugh at him, and yet still in the year of 2023, Messi is still topping these charts.
So i'll take it as a win if Madrid fans can only laugh at me and not come back at me with statistics and cold hard facts.

Re: Vinicius Jr signs for Madrid
If Vini was a RW he'd still be better than Saka. They are on completely different planets. I can only laugh at those who namedrop him like it will come true when it gets repeated over and over. No it won't. What Saka is doing now Vini was doing when he was 18yo. If we win the CL, Vini will win the balon d'or. Maybe he can invite Saka to give him a signed shirt.

Are you referring to any particular players? I feel like a lot of non- Real Madrid fans only see the positive sides to our players, and hardly ever the flaws. I still frequently see people on the internet suggest that Modric and Kroos have managed to sustain their prime up until today, and I can only assume that those people are only familiar with how we perform in the Champions League. Asensio seems to be a top player in the eyes of many, as well. Yesterday's performance probably didn't change that view among so called neutrals.

Re: Vinicius Jr signs for Madrid
I really still do not get the Saka - Vini comparison. Honestly, I never sat down and wondered if either was better than the other. Saka is doing his thing and Vini is doing his thing, both (hopefully) becomes great footballers as they get older.
Now, I totally did a Vini - Kvara comparison in the evitability we sign that lovely Georgian (since they share the same position on the field).

Re: Vinicius Jr signs for Madrid
it started when your delusional fanbase on here said he is easily the 3rd best player of the new generation, and i just said it's not that clear-cut because he is on the same level as Saka... and then of course your fanbase could only laugh having not watched a single minute of Saka over the past 2 years.

No, it really started on Arsenal Twitter where you guys have a God damn tendency to overstate your position in the footballing world.
Constantly. And it almost always ends up with eggs on faces.

Re: Vinicius Jr signs for Madrid
Well, saka is just not there yet
Can he get there in the future to vini’s level? Absolutely, he has the talent. All we’re saying is that he’s unproven on the bigger stage. It’s not his fault. It just is what it is. Next season is going to be a good indicator of where he stands. FWIW, he had a good and pretty underrated World Cup

Not really, as I said before, the quality is not the prestige of the competition, it's the nature of it, nations competing against eachother.
You put an average club in there and they would probably win it.

Miss me with that pedantic potato/pohtato bullshit
History and culture remembers Maradona '86 and Zidane '98 more than anything else in the sport. The World Cup is the only reason Pele is known. This is where you make your name, like it or not.
And it's not like we are comparing England to Togo here, in fact Brazil were one of the favourites heading into the tournament, certainly ahead of England.

That is ancient history, when club football wasn't as advanced and international football was the shit.
