Whoa, that’s a bit much!  Look we are all surprised and impressed with his breakout play this year. He is good, very good.

But to be considered the best he needs to prove that over a sustained period.

Mbappe has been performing and delivering over. 3 year period. Haaland over 1 1/2 years. Vinicius has been performing well for 4 months!

And to lump mentality in there!, when we were all critical of his lack of futbol brain just months ago!

The mentality comment, at this point still rests with Rodrygo, definitely the smarter player at this point. I’m still hopefully, Rodrygo can get a breakout season as well, (also proving that Flo was right with his South American talent signings) as he was rated the better of the two when they were still in Brasil. However the issue  will be, he won’t be getting much playing time next season if the Mbappe / Haaland signings come to fruitition.

I am wondering about Flo’s signing strategies. I still believe his intent is to signing one of Mbappe or Haaland. The interest is there in both, but I suspect that both signings are difficult and that the strategy is to bid for both hoping to catch one! However an article today says he plans to sign both (despite the issues of playing both plus Benzema and Vinicius).

And if we look at Vinicius / Rodrygo, i believe the strategy was to sign both, hoping one of them would develop.

So if this is a strategy, what happens when both come to fruition?

He has started to dive alot more nowadays and spends 5 mins after every tackle moaning to the refs. Wish we had Ramos who could clip him round the ears. He makes the wrong decision there and tries to conceal it with a dive. Infuriating!

He gets worked up easily. When he gets taunted it throws him off his game

Barca had him on lock last night. One of the worst games I've seen him play since our draw against Villarreal at the start of the season. But then again the tactics against us are so easy, double team Vini and let Rodrygo/Asensio create. Works everytime. Without Benz Vini is half a player because when you look at all Vini's goals nearly 90% involves Benz

I was impressed with Dembele but he is obviously playing for a big fat signing bonus because he'll never defend like he did last night ever

Oh and Barca players being classless as usual, first win in 6 games and you have players like Garcia taunting Vini about winning Balon d'or.

Felt alittle bit sorry for him yesterday. He was absolutely deserted up there on his own teying to go solo everytime he had the ball. I am happy we played at home and not away because the fans would've been brutal against him

Seems like Carlo can't get through to him. He has been told to simmer down by Carlo alot during games. Mostly he's gotten the last laugh but man as a Madrid fan i hate to see shit like that
