Except that it's how it works.  Wingers, fullbacks and B2B positions are much easier for people to transition around than other positions because of the real estate...  roles are very different.  But at least you don't have to figure out where the heck you are.  It also depends on the type of player you are too obviously.  To transition from defense to midfield and even moreso the attack, you need to have a certain level of technique.  As kids, the more technical guys are put on the attack and the least technical ones on defense... just how it is.

I was put in as a defender so you all know lol.

Giving Mbappe and Silva to Mourinho as wingers will just ruin them for a years. Mbappe would just become a Pandev having to defend that flank like prime Maldini and cover for Pogba. While Silva and Griezmann would just run into each other.

Never mind Fabinho having to defend all by himself because none of the front 5 are capable when he isn't even the DM of Monaco.

You need to look for more Fellaini's and Coquelin's to please Mourinho imo.
