Lmao jetpack was basically a must pick in BF1 since everything else sucked.

I think that's the point, they don't want everyone flying around the map constantly.

Honestly I think a battlefield like class system is good for the game.

Hard to really tell how much better it is because the person playing is dog shit so i'll wait for EA's livestream to form a proper opinion.

No idea, i think they are just using that word to determine their release output.

After every "season" they are releasing free maps, heroes etc etc.

It by no means that's going to be the release lineup though, there could be some put in there as placeholders until others are ready. For example considering how they did Heroes in the first game i will be shocked if Yoda is the only prequel hero at launch, they were pretty obsessed in the first game of having equal heroes and villains.

Also they said at E3 that Phasma and Finn would be the first free DLC in December so yeah i suspect they might be changes, but it's nice to see what we are looking at for release anyway.

We have some good news: Star Wars Battlefront II’s open beta is coming this October. Here’s what’s inside:

Galactic assault on Naboo

- Join the Separatist droid army or the Republic Clones on the streets of Theed in massive 40 player multiplayer melees

- Choose from four distinct trooper classes:

- Assault troopers are classic flankers, pushing the line forward and advancing the front

- Heavy troopers use their high-powered weapons and personal body shields to take ground and hold it

- Officers power up their teammates with buffs and deploy remote weapons to support their allies

- Specialists lay traps and snipe from a distance
Control beloved Star Wars heroes, pilot prequel-era vehicles, and more

If you pre-order Star Wars Battlefront II, you can jump into the beta early. Players who pre-order gain access to the beta 4th October – the beta opens to the public 6th October, and lasts through 9th October.

It sounds like they'll be space battles in the beta too, but i doubt many people here will care.

Rainbow Six: Siege's beta ended a whole day before release, which is just absolutely retarded rofl

Fanboys were arguing that Ubisoft's devs were so talented and efficient that they could fix all of the reported bugs within that extremely short time frame. It took them a month to fix minor issues, and two months to fix larger ones ffs.

Been confirmed there's going to be 11 maps for the 40 player modes at launch ( obviously there will be maps for the smaller modes too)

For comparisons sake, the original had 4 maps at launch.

I don't understand this line of thinking tbh, you don't have to "fall" for anything.

There's a beta, try it and if you don't like it then don't get it lol.

Same applies to football games and their demos.

It's not like there's no way of trying it for yourself for free and you are just going on what people are telling you.

You can very easily make your own mind up and nobody here is going to try and convince you otherwise.
