We keep giving the ball straight back to them. Alexis looks ready to murder someone Laughing

Can only see an Everton winner at this rate.

Mehhh

stupid points dropped Mad

Arsene subs don't make much sense, take Ox off but who else is going to cross the ball to Giroud scratch

No point bringing Giroud on when there is no one to cross him the ball

I can't believe Coquelin stayed on. He's been a passenger this second half. Need ball retention, not a ball winner.

Disappointing. Everton have been in shit form and we lose to them.

Now a Sunderland madness is needed... fml.

Have to say, Arsene should have rotated either tonight or against Stoke. We looked lethargic half the time.

Walcott and The Ox are just not good enough. It is what it is.

I thought the Ox had a great future but I'm ready to declare him a failure. Walcott has been confirmed a failure long ago even though Arsenal and its fans try to forget this time and time again.

Ox and Theo were invisible, but I was really disappointed with Ozil's performance. His final ball was off, his finishing was off, and he largely went missing in the second half when we really need a link player between our midfield and attack.

Disappointed with Wenger as well. Brining on Giroud wasn't a good move - he and Alexis have zero chemistry, Alexis receives the ball less when he's out wide, and we simply didn't have enough possession in Everton's half to bring Giroud into the game. We took off the two players who could actually provide crosses for him. Leaving on Coquelin when he had become ineffectual wasn't smart, either. We weren't counterpressing anymore and needed an extra passer to help us in the transition.

Just an infuriating night all round and one that really makes you doubt if we keep sustain a title challenge. Too many players going missing when it got tough, and a manager that's not great at reacting to in game changes that go against his team.

there could be excuses about physical levels dropping by this point of the season but proper title challenging team should be able to see these sort of games out after taking the lead even if not playing well

but we see same issues that we have and conceding more from cross-Set piece

Walcott can have off days but we really have no like for like player to do same job maybe Welbeck but he is less of goal threat while we defo need new partner for Xhaka if things not working for Ramsey

Coquelin is useful player and profile that we lacked for some time but doesn't have enough attacking quality for this role

i rather fix these positions(more productive wide attacker and better CM)and then stick with regular XI than making changes here and there and saying we have good depth etc

So after the stress of last night, the thing that has me vexed most is why do we always try to coast through the game when we go one up?

Surely this is something Wenger instructs the players to do, because it happens 90% of the time. If so, then, why?

It's frustrating as well, as we tend to drop back after a few minutes and then invite more pressure on to us when we should be trying to keep the ball better in an organised manner and go for the second goal.
