I know I don’t need to explain this to the majority of Arsenal fans but contrary to speculation at no time did I tell Alexis Sanchez to leave Arsenal. I had no idea he was going to sign for Man Utd until I saw it on the news like the rest of you.

According to Bild, Mesut will sign a new contract with Arsenal. His soon-to-be wife Amine Gülse, new signings and €350k/week were the convincing factors.

Yep top guy, when you think about the 500k/week Sanchez got from Man Utd, Ozil could've gone close to that in the summer. Not even mentioning someone like Cesc who took a pay cut to leave, the wanker.

wasn't aware he has a new, serious girlfriend, or even fiancee.

I have the feeling that this might play a much larger role in both his decision making and his performances than we realize.

Back when he had this on-off drama with Monrose Mandy his performances were suffering, and he was rumoured to be jetting around for one night stands.

So glad he's gotten over this.

Money, his gf, London, idc. Just happy we get to keep watching him play for Arsenal. I was resigned to losing Alexis for a long time but Özil has always been my favorite of the two.

Would have been hard to see him go, especially since he not only didn't go the Alexis route of playing selfishly and carelessly for a team he gave up on but actually stepped it way the hell up and played some fantastic football to show his worth.
