You also have to differentiate between decision making built because of repetition on the training pitch for specific game situations, and just how smart a player is.

I take a player like Sterling who we all commended for improving under Pep but to me that's a bit artificial because the type of juego de posicion Pep preaches, puts his forward in very specific situations and sometimes give them a set number of decision to take based off where they touch the ball. If you reduce the number of decisions a player must make on a play from 4 to 2 then it improves the outcome of his play.

But you watch him with England and the increment is not as pronounced. He has many more decisions to take on the ball because the game situations aren't as repeated and thus, he looks worse. I am always suspicious of youngsters doing well with Pep because of these parameters.

If you ask me who is the more intelligent player between a guy like Sterling and Mbappe, it's like night and day, Mbappe is a natural.

And all that in the first 25 mins of the second half lol. He started by missing 3 1v1s... then scored 4 in 13 mins... and then took the last 20 mins off. So freakin explosive.

Neymar was amazing. He should have had 5 assists if Mbappe didn't keep missing those 1v1s.

Vinicius doesn't have speed close to that though. I think he has a cap on how great he can be as a winger because of it, but I hope I'm proved wrong.

Mbappe comes up aces again in a big game. 1 goal and 2 assists in a must win away game to help PSG. Neymar was great too with 1 goal and 1 assist (great goal).

Kid is really something.

Not even featured so much. Neymar is the main guy with the ball and Cavani mostly gets in his way. But his talent just pushed him to the top.

I wonder if ANY club can afford or even consider the crazy money PSG would demand. But with both Suarez (32) and Messi (31) past their prime, Barcelona seems like good destination.

You can't hate him man. Even his personality, seems like a down to earth guy.

It's about him. nobody can pay enough money to convince PSG but if he don't extend contract and decides to leave which he will imo ( not sure when ) then the bidding war to sign him will begin.
