It could just be me but did you just vaguely imply that Juan Jesus is not a top tier player?

Juan Jesus is that player that gives every kid in the world the hope that they can all become football players.

Pyrrhic victory is pyrrhic.....we once again got hit up by the ACL goblin and this time it's Florenzi that was the victim.

So that's Rruin Jesus and Pleberson as our FB for the foreseeable future....hopefully Rudiger gets back to his best form and we get Rui back soon as well or else the results are not going to last.

Well, Roma won, that's good. Probably better opposition for Juve than Milan in retrospect. Inter won too, but don't know if that's good or bad, frankly.

Cappocanonieri after 10 matches

Dzeko 10
Icardi 8
Immobile 8
Belotti 6
Bacca 6
Higuain 6

Notably Milik would have been on track but will lose about half a season. Belotti has missed a month due to injury. Berardi started his season scoring in every game with 7 goals in 6 games (EL+Serie A) but has been injured since the third matchday.

We'll miss his energy more than anything. What he lacks in numbers, he makes up for in the intangibles.

That said, Rudiger can play RB til Peres is back. Hopefully that will be enough.

Yeah except the ACL goblin got him too. He's still out and recovering.

Strootman, Rudiger, Rui, Nura, Ponce and Florenzi......I have never seen an ACL injury so many players at the same club in such a small span of time....it's maddening.

No too far off, Michael Bolingbroke worked for Jim Henson the creator of the Muppets.

Under normal circumstances, Juve Vs Napoli would have been a great contest. But i don't know if it will be one with how Napoli are these days.

Looking forward to it nevertheless

Gonna be awesome. Super pumped for this game, the media has been hyping all week like crazy too.

The whole Higuain thing has everyone on edge, no away fans in Torino or the Naples leg. This game is really important for both teams. Napoli are just back to consecutive wins and would be back on track if they beat us with Roma likely going 1st.

If Roma (plays Empoli) and Napoli wins then the table becomes

Roma 25
Juve 24
Napoli 23

Juve can take that in terms of points because we are in general more consistent than the others, but the problem is that we've lost to Fiore, Inter and Milan. We can't take another loss to a rival, and the most dangerous rival at that.

Meanwhile if Napoli lose they start falling behind the top 2 and take a big hit in confidence just after getting back to winning. Then it could be a mess.

The draw is honestly fine for both in terms of points, but there is too much tension to think about draws.

For how 'bad' they've been, post-Milik Napoli still scored 7 goals in 4 games. They will likely score against us as well, Hamsik is in top form. We have Dybala out and Marchisio is now given a rest after his start vs Sampdoria.

Expected lineups:

Buffon

Barzagli - Bonucci - Chiellini

Litchsteiner - Khedira - Hernanes - Pjanic - Sandro

Higuain - Mandzukic

vs

Insigne - Mertens - Callejon

Hamsik - Jorginho - Allan

Ghoulam - Koulibaly - Maksimovic - Hysaj

Reina

I'm hoping for a 2-1 Juve win.

@RealGunner it worked against Samp last matchday, 4-1, but Pjaca is also injured so there are not many options.
