Just watched it a couple weeks ago. Hilarious stuff. Apparently this is going to be the last season as well. Sad!

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 5
yeah, if I recall, they actually filmed this all in one go, just released the second series this year.
think I saw you mention Eastbound & Down, that's a personal favorite. Couple seasons below it's own standard but Kenny Powers is an icon.

Thoughts on the Emmys last night?
Nothing for Westworld surprisingly. Handmaid's tale swept it all up

Glover winning was the only thing I cared about. Drama categories were a sham anyway.

Loved Handmaid's tale and while I have no interest in This is Us, became a fan of Sterling after his OJ role so that softened the blow of Sir Tony not winning.
That said, whole show sounded like a shitshow.

Surprised and yet not surprised that Sterling K. Brown won the best actor (drama) for his role in This Is Us, he really was outstanding.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 5
you heard of this BBC series called White Gold @RealGunner
made by the creators of the Inbetweeners and also stars Jay and Simon
setting doesn't seem as relateable but watched a few trailers on youtube and it seems funny, think all episodes released a couple months ago

I watched it. I found it entertaining. I'm not too big on sitcoms but I enjoyed it.
A couple of the lads from the inbetweeners are in it also which was a good laugh

To US college students that use Spotify Premium. You can now use Hulu with no extra charge.

Started The Handmaid's Tale. I thought it was a period piece, didn't know its dystopian sci fi.
Its amazing so far. Better than any Netflix exclusive imo.

West world is amazing.
Leftovers is great, don't know if it's for you though.
Seen all the classics, The Wire, Sopranos etc?
The Deuce should be great, but I prefer watching David Simon shows in binges.
There really isn't much new. The Leftovers, Veep, The Night Of and Silicon Valley seems to be their shows.
Not huge on ballers
