inb4 Juve take our leftovers again with Darmian, it's a shame, I quite like him but he's failed to impress when given chances. Don't know much about Semedo tbh but he's probably an improvement over Darmian and Valencia.

Yea share the same opinion re: Darmian. Really wanted him to be a success. The lad defensively is pretty solid and will improve significantly a team that plays according to his strength. Its because Mourinho's system is heavily reliant on offensively contributing full backs, his United career could well just end next summer.

And I dont think this Semedo has in him to replace Valencia at least next season(assuming he comes that is). Valencia is the perfect Mourinho full back and he has been pretty consistent for a long time.
In the YT clips I saw of Semedo he looked more and more as a drbbling winger with blistering pace and not really as a full back. So not sure about his defensive game. So even if he comes he will certainly be behind Val until at least he gets the defensive side of his game sorted out.

rincon is a very solid poster here and would certainly make a fine addition to most starting 11s in Europe so I take great displeasure in this post

I mean yeah only one of those I.E Khedira will ever be in contention as a bonafide starter for us and the rest are bench material that allows us to rotate, but don't let that get in the way of a good time.

On another more pessimistic note, the James links are laughable. We didn't even spend a penny of our own transfer budget this Summer and weakened our midfield so clearly we're not the sort of club to go after what will undoubtedly be an in demand player, unless the powers that be really have a change of heart.

Darmian was one of the more offensive full backs the Italian national team had before he moved to the EPL. Mourinho must have ruined him by now. He definitely needs to move back home to get his game back on track.

Rincon would be a great option off the bench and can play multiple positions. Sturaro is very good defensively and is also a good option off the bench. Khedira is the only starter of the bunch and he started for the German national team 6 months ago so he can't really be classified as a scrub. You must not know our other midfielders named Marchisio and Pjanic, you know the ones that actually start in all of our games.

RMC in France are the ones reporting that move. They seem to have close ties with Martial (broke his move to United before anyone iirc).

Crucially though there's nothing in the Sevilla-based papers about it yet. They're just recycling the reports from France.

Pretty much every team in Italy is being linked with Bernardeschi, Chelsea as well a while back. Inter's president (the chinese one) apparently already contacted Fiore. Now from French media PSG have apparently joined in.

- Di Maria

- Martial
- Depay

+ sky high salary for obsoletes Rooney, Ibra and Mourinho

And now they would spend 60M for Lindelof ? rofl

Benfica is haggling apparently. Its insane to pay that kind of money for a 22 y.o CB, however talented he is. Great decision to pull the plug imo.
And its not like we are in desperate need for a CB anyway.

And yea Martial wont be happening. We dont have enough wide options to make up if he ends up going on loan to Sevilla. His agent is just talking trash like agents these days do. Mkhitaryan's agent was talked trash too a little while ago. Look how that turned out with the man back in the team.
