Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Whats happening with Dortmund? Tuchel even admitted that they arent ready yet to play for Bundesliga. I have high hopes for the team tho

St. Pauli too, sad stuff.
At least Eintracht Frankfurt is keeping me happy.

They may not be allowed to call themselves Red Bull, but if you are watching the game, it is hard to not have a desire to drink a Red Bull and vodka, it is Red Bull adverts everywhere.
Leipzig playing like a bunch of Bulls, very physical, Bremen not shying away either. Still 0-0 after about 40 mins and hard to say who will win this game, slight advantage from RB as far as possession and play goes.
I dont recall ever seeing that colour of kit from werder.

Journo: "Last question: Real have their eyes on Tuchel, true or false?"
Watzke: "That may be"
J "so it's true?"
W "I believe yes"
J "How do you know that, you do have a 'good wire' [close relation/communicatio] to Real right?"
W "Yes I have good wire to Real Madrid and after the season Tuchel delivered last year it's obvious that it hasn't been lost on them we have a first class coach, they're not completely stupid after all, many others have noticed too, but I'm worried the least of all about this"
J "Florentino Perez is a friend of yours, has he ever talked to you about Tuchel?
W "No"
J "But if Real wanted Tuchel, you would need to worry, no?"
W "No, why?"
J "such a big club, if it were the case that Thomas Tuchel desperately wanted to go there, could you say no?"
W "yeah but Thomas has a contr.... yes of course one can say no, it's not like with players where when they get to 28, 29 years and have just 3 years left and say 'don't deny me this great chance', Thomas is so young he can coach clubs for 20 more years, he should do his job for us as, well as he did it so far and all is good".
Rest is about how they 'scout' coaches

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Not only is it the el super klassizistisch (excuse my spanish) it is also el super plastico derby this weekend. And then you have the Kanada vs New York MLS games tomorrow.
So the good folks at Rogers will actually show the Ruhr derby game live, though that is the only bundesliga game shown live this weekend, so they still suck,
Yesterday, I made sure to get sufficiently drunk so I could watch the BMG vs Eintracht game on 2 hour delay and not spoil the result, by knowing in advance or at least being drunk enough, that I would forget once I started watching. I wasted a lot of good beer and whiskey on that one.
So I have to make some bets to recoup that money wasted on drink yesterday.
Mainz - Ingolstadt
Wont call this a relegation battle, cus Mainz will stay up, Ingo wont.
2-0
Wolfsburg - Leverkusen
El Super Plastico, the original. FYI, Leipzig vs Hoff is the new and improved el super plastico.
Like a VW Golf performing an emission test, Wolfsburg failed me in the Last man standing, so will never get my vote again, though it is hard to bet on the Pretenders.
1-1
Augsburg - Bayern
Does Bayern consider this a derby match? Augsburg used to be a tough team to play, but I suspect a B Bayern team with Joshau on spot duty (Thomas has this habit of tripping over his feet when taking elfmeter kicks) will win easily
0-4
Bremen - Freiburg
I like that people are picking Werder in the LMS competition.
2-1
Darmstadt - Leipzig
Lawn Bowling Leipzig can not lose. They will be a repeat of that Kaiserslautern team that won the league in their promotion year. Which will make everyone in Germany furious.
0-3
Dortmund - Schalke
I think the home team tends to win these? Schalke are getting better though.
2-1
Hoffenheim - Hertha (So.)
This is a 6 point game or whatever they call it? Hoff also can not lose.
4-3
Köln - HSV
Whoever picked Koln in the LMS game will surely get through this week.
2-1

That is a very young line up from BVB, which is strange considering that I think of Schalke as being a young team.
