Looking at what's available I have a really hard time seeing what any coach can do with this England team. About three or four decent attackers but not a single genuinely quality central midfielder in sight, and no matter how we want to play we're not going to get very far without good midfielders.

These are our centre mid options:

Jordan Henderson, Eric Dier, Fabian Delph, Danny Drinkwater, Jonjo Shelvey, Jack Cork, James Ward-Prowse, Jack Wilshere, Ryan Mason, Tom Carroll, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Liam Baker, Nathaniel Chalobah

tbf Henderson had some shaky performances after becoming captain for Liverpool also and then grew into the role. He was probably just playing a bit nervous. He was MotM for England just a game ago so you guys need to chill with the jealousy.
