Tbh, I'd rather see Lemina stay because he showed some potential this season and Allegri really trusted him as soon as he came from his injury.

I'd prefer we sell Hernanes to a Serie A club tbh

This way we weaken a direct opponent instead of West Ham who we only face in exhibition.

When Hernanes was asked about him leaving he said I just bought a house here I never did that before, it is because I want to stay here

When Pogba was asked about him leaving to United he put there a smile and told we will see about that

Btw moggi. You had said about the final against Barcelona that Marchisio was at fault for Iniesta making the run to set up Rakitic's goal, it was actually Vidal who didn't track back.

Second, for Morata's goal it was Marchisio who started the play with a brilliant back heel to Lichtsteiner who passed to Tevez, who's shot was saved and the rebound scored by Morata.

So, that's more than Hernanes has done in his career lets just say.

Very true, I just wanted to clarify as the CL final stuck out to me. But I actually ended up watching the highlights from 2015 today- don't ask why, and Marchisio was not only not at fault for the goal he was instrumental in creating our only goal and was better than Pirlo and Vidal.

The transfer for Pogba is done since many weeks imo.

The problem is Raiola's fee: the 2 clubs probably don't want to pay him at all, or want to pay less than the actual fee (25? 30? what an aberration nmw)...

Now imagine Raiola trying not only to convince the teams for Pogba moving, but also to get paid himself ! That might be hard to negociate since basically Juve-Man Utd could have done business without Raiola being the link between them 2.

If I was looking to discuss Juve matters on a football forum and I stumbled upon GL, seeing Hernanes > Marchisio debates would literally, no joke, scare me away and i'd carry on looking.

As a very recent user i'd say i'm very glad i subscribed GL after all.... even if i never, ever, ever expected to debate about Marchisio being "correct but that's it", while Hernanes being the fallen god of football whose abilities will be unlocked only the day hen's will have teeth.

I've read someone post (forgot who) that this might be our best mercato since, and maybe even including, 2001/02. Something like that was the post.

Do you guys rate this summer that highly?
I'm loving it, but I'm not sure I would put it above 2011/12.

These guys became a huge part of our success for 3/4 years and brought us back to life. I still think that year was better. Although I haven't thought about it much.

I think this mercato is really good, we made a really positive effort

results also depend on the luck, you cannot tell mercato was a failure if Higuain brakes the leg, it doesn't work like that, we did a really good job bringing really good players, and from now on we should pray to Buffon, to keep us safe and we should pray to forwards to keep scoring goals

you are really very patient, no one can take that from you. At least from myself I don't dismiss or dislike your opinions and debates on any other matter, its all good stuff.

Its just that this one is so, so wrong. Specially when you bring up that we hype Marchisio just because he Italian, and hate on Hernanes just because he is from Inter.

That could not be farther from the truth lol. Pick any, truly any, of our foreign players and they are still more valuable to us than Hernanes. Even Neto because he is quality whenever he plays.

And the Inter argument? ridiculous. Bonucci and Pirlo came from Inter. Juventinos can't love them more than we already do. Huge part of our teams. Higuain will come from Napoli and we still welcome him and get hyped. Dani Alves knocked us out of the last CL final and everyone still likes the signing. Its not what they did with our rivals that matters, its what they do with us.
