lot of ppl playing the game now, some hilarious quotes. Calling it unchecked insanity from Kojima, and not in a good way. I saw ppl say the story cutscenes are out online, so I was gonna watch it, but it's 8 hrs long ffs

He needed a game to get all the konami nonsense and MGS dependency out of his system. This was it. Hopefully it sells well so he keeps making more.

I am sure he will get back to his old roots and make a proper game next time.

Saying that 83 on metacritic is not a failure at all.

83/100 is respectable, nothing wrong with that score for most games, but the reviews just seemed like it gave extra points because it's Kojima. He's said he wants to make movies with his studio in the future (shocker) good luck with that, I imagine Death Stranding's budget was on par with a lot of modern movies though, surely. I think it will sell well though.

Also I think I played for an hour , and 45 minutes of that was cutscenes, is this a movie or a game.

I watched every trailer leading up to release and I still had no idea what the fuck death stranding was gonna be about.

The experience of playing it without knowing anything about it has to be a ridiculous surprise.
